Today this is either a joke or offensive to EVERYBODY. Depending on how "woke" you are. I love the music and the humor, and the stunning ladies. Who loved Benny and the show. They got to do EVERYTHING. After they went through Benny's show they could handle anything. Lol, especially since the outdoor shooting was in a cold season!
You call "innocent" an event that plays the hardcore rules of star system: it tells that some win the entertaining lottery, at the cost of having to go for it 100%, and are the happier if millions watchers enjoy. Now Benny Hill dug his grave into having nothing in his life apart from writing frivolous jokes, the guy died early. Men turn off the program and won't mind that their grilfriend/wife (for almost all of them), if they have one, can't offer what the girl on the screen can; as for goofy humour they remember that Benny wanted to marry and was rejected. Teenage boys and retard adults might enjoy and celebrate this with their pals, and dream of that impossible dream of living in a world of easy life, surrounded by the most charming women: that kind of TV program would send them a big "take it easy" message, as if life was going to be that easy

I can see, many people believe that his sexual drive is an act. They have to be wrong. For this level of creativity, you have to max out your intuition, which is just the other side of the coin, with sex. That is why producers are blamed regularly .... with too much "intuition" lately. (I never read an article about him)
Benny Hill was an absolute comic genius his slapstick comedy the fast movement of the pictures of them women chasing him was an absolute riot and most of the time just with the expression on his face you could tell what he was thinking and then you would get fooled by what you saw afterwards he was an absolute comic genius and I loved every single one of the skits that I had ever seen I most likely didn't see all of them but I watched quite a bit of them and I thought the guy was brilliant and the slapstick comedy and the old man that he used to Pat on the head was an absolute scream it was terrific and the beautiful women that he had on that show you it's hard to say anything bad about Benny Hill I really love the guy he was an absolute comic genius hands down Beyond anybody else and other people that are in the comedy business have used some of his Expressions some of his takes and some of the best clip videos of people chasing each other around Benny Hill was fantastic and everybody should have appreciated the music and the entertainment and the laughter that you got from this really super terrific person and it would have been nice if some woman would have been His companion and partner for life because I think he more than well earned it
