Great review of my fav PJ! Not sure if you covered 3D capabilities of this PJ, the 3D is just phenomenal on this model because of the high lumens and DLP single chip. One of the main reasons I bought it.

TK700 has an extra feature to watch 3D HSBS or HOU movies and it's good to have this feature specially to watch movies like Avatar 2 in 3D in your living room . I believe spending double amount just for extended lamp life is not worth it b'cos Eco mode gives 10000 hrs lamp life and if you watch a movie everyday then at-least 9 years it would take to replace the lamp where brightness is slightly reduced to normal mode and lamp replacement can cost you max 20K which is better than spending 2 Lacs more just for LED lamp.

I'll post a video on that some time in April, what's good and what bad...... Its' good for the price as per specs that it has but the actual color reproduction is awful, that's the big problem with those Chinese projectors .

I didn't want a UST projector, so didn't look into that....... also for UST you need a good ALR screen those are almost over a lakh the good quality ones. Good quality Laser UST projector would be around 3-4 lakhs.

What about the screen? I remember LTT (Linus) showed off that amazing grey coloured screen (which shifts colours depending on the angle, I can't remember the technical term), did you consider buying something like that?

ALR screens can't be folded and I wanted a mechanism where the projector screen could be hidden as there will be a 75" TV behind that projector screen. ALR screen are very expensive..... don't know if we even get a 120" ALR screen max I have seen is 100" ALR screen in India and those also cost over a lakh the good ones.

What is the lowest screensize you can opt for in this projector(or generally) if you do not want to go with 120inch display size. As a gaming person who shifts constantly due to job i am considering buying a projector. Previously I had purchased TV and monitor but it gets difficult to carry those everytime u movearound. PS5 + Projector seems ideal combo.

You can go down to even 60" projected image but the ideal screen size for this kind of projector is between 100 - 150" screen.

It's the light source difference, both in terms of life are similar about 30,000 hrs..... In India laser projectors are still very expensive thus mostly reserved for UST projectors. I also enquired about a Sony laser projector similar to this one and that was around 6 lakhs.

X3000i Too expensive in India at 3.5 lakh. USA it is priced at 2000 USD. Better go for 1080p projector , HT690ST . It is also 4 LED projector and reasonably priced at 1,10,000/- . In US it’s priced at 1000 USD. Since Benq is going to stop releasing lamp based projector , better to go with LED projectors.

Still projector makers giving outdated VGA Port, old version HDMI Port, aditional dongle! If they really multimedia centric & gaming projector makers they include a PC with ryzen 7 processor, minimum 16GB ram, 2TB nvme SSD, minimum 8GB graphics card, & best power supply unit.
