Benrus, Marathon, and Mk II asymmetrical reissues. Who does it best? 

I don't know why I thought Mk II was British, they most certainly are not. American assembled, proudly. 🇺🇲🦅🇺🇲🦅🇺🇲

MK II and the new Tornek-Rayville are owned assembled by the same watchmaker in.... I think its Pennsylvania, here in the USA. Definitely in the US for sure. I met Bill the owner and watchmaker at a watch meet up last year. Great guy. SOLID watches. Loves his military inspred watches as both brands attest too. I have the Tornek- Rayville branded Paradive Type I. Such a well built watch. I hade been looking for a Type I inspired watch for a while and really couldn't find a decent one until i decovered MKII. Now it seems like more people are rediscovering it. I hadn't even realized that Benrus with their Type I had been resurrected until fairly recently. With so many military inspired watches, Im surprised this case shape and design hasnt been used or inspred more. BTW nice Blackjak. Bill may end up with more of my money. :)

I actually had the military issue Marathon Navigator in the Army back in the 90's

On the Marathon just for the hell of it you should’ve used your UV light on it because it would’ve showed what it looks like in total darkness as a UV light would excite the molecules

As looks go, I prefer the Marathon.

The finish is different. Shame about that. No dash on the crown. Shame about that. Still a nice watch. Shame the Type I from Benrus doesn’t have the caseback with all the marking. Currently a tribute, U.S. flag, version. Oh well. 😊

what´s the point if sold out? is it so difficult to keep up with continues demand or is it a part time thing these guys do on the side?

Marathon LUME is the worst LUME in the upper end watch business! Fact! Anyone who claims the tubes with that liquid in it out glows any decent competitor …. Is a lost puppy.
