Nice animation! ❤ After local/general anaesthetic, benzodiazepines should be given much credit, they provide a wide range of therapeutic advantages. Although addictive, benzos are very important in medicine. Midazolam and Diazepam are on the WHO List of Essential Medicines. I would love to try Chlordiazepoxide someday, and methyllorazepam. Triazolam is... it's a good sleeper, probably the most useless benzo in my opinion.

I honestly feel for you. Benzodiazepine withdrawal is extremely unpleasant, probably on the simular level as opiates. Maybe try reduction in doses and even, say "goin down". For example, Clonazepam down to Diazepam and going from there. Any good doctor will never abruptly stop a drug your dependent upon, it's basically inducing withdrawal. If a doctor stops your meds without weaning you off, their licence should be revoked.
@@katrinamenzies9398 It's all subjective. Doctors should prescribe them for more than* a month when it's necessary. Uncommonly. So much evidence has come from long acting low tolerance benzodiazepines being used long term in place of SSRI or SNRI or TRI etc. treatment in some of those with adverse effects to such treatments. Banning them or not allowing prescription for more than a month is such an odd take based on subjectivity lmao
Benzos are a temporary bandaid to a more permanent wound. They help at stopping anxiety and panic attacks. Sometimes you have to ask yourself are they worth it? In my opinion the negatives outway the positives. You shouldnt have to rely on a drug to make you feel normal. Benzos are only meant to be taken only under medical supervision and for a short duration. They do not cure anxiety they just numb it. Unfortunately for me i have an addiction. My body is so adapted to them that if i go just a day without i almost have a seizure and im not even epileptic. Withdrawing from these drugs are no joke. Never cold turkey or it can lead to seizures and death
I have an anxiety dissorder also panick attack dissorder and benzos was the worst thing thay could give me.. And in my country they are the most popular for any mental health issues.. They give you them like candy 🤣 but that's because in our country they don't care about treating you.. They just wanna give you so much drugs thay can to get money from ...shit i don't know how it's called in English.. Basicaly they wanna perscribe you drugs because they get money for that.. So it's not about helping people, it's about money.. Like every industry.. 😐 A was also addicted to neurol and then clonazepamum, because being on that drug was good because I didn't felt a thing.. I was like a zombie, i didn't know what's going on around me and i was still somewhere in the universe 🤣 Also i forget to add that my psychiatrist knew about alcohol addiction in ma family, ma mom, her mom, her father, my father, his father.. So she knew that there is high chance that i could stay addicted and still that's what she choosed for me 😂
