Skill and finesse. Fantastic. Parts of the song reminded me a bit of Porcupine Tree.

There are only very few names that come to mind that can transition so smoothly, so precise, so musically in between parts and make it all fit perfectly. This was an amazing experience, remindes me a lot of some Benny Greb Music, in terms of "drifting off into the Music" capacity. Will absolutely get the EP to hear more of this. Amazing piece of art.

most inspiring video ever. I really like they way over drumming. taking up the melody canstantly by playing accents en mixing 8th notes and 16th notes on the right moment. Besides being an awesome drummer he is also very musical... this is not the case for all drummers

Hi Mike! Beautiful drumming! Starting at 0:21 and specially at 0:34 is that the ECM/straight eights jazz/broken time feel? I’ve seen a lot of that style in your videos and would love to play that style. Any recommendations to develop it? Hope you can do a video or course on that style!

@mikeslessons

KILLABUTCHA Great question, but this isn't a play along. This is a track from my new band so the drum part was written over a few nights of practice with the guys :-)

So i have a question? Are you playing along to the music(the vibe of the song) or are you counting(playing your written parts), while playing awesome-ly? =) What is going on inside your head man?! And the change in the dynamics..DAMN! Youre a huge inspiration man! Thanks for the upload!
