I had the same thought. Shows from the descriptions of her videos about how she’s hIgHlY eDuCaTeD so she needs a man who’s the same level. A Malay/Indian person HURT her and now she’s projecting that on everyone of those 2 races.

Those ‘prestigious’ institutions here are usually paid to enrol children of wealthy families. These students are not as intelligent compared to those who actually worked hard to get into those same institutions
I know we’re all making jokes and laughing but this really does speak volumes (to some extent) about how the elitism in terms of a person’s education and the institution they got it from in Singapore CAN have a negative effect on a person’s character. And this is a problem because character simply does not really matter in Singapore’s education system, or rather does not matter AS MUCH, and where it does matter, you can still compensate with grades. This becomes worse when these people grow up and become members of society like ms Beow Tan here like wtf man.

Mild racism does happen with people not wanting to sit next to you on the bus. Or not wanting you to share table in food court,yet allowing others to sit there. But this woman is a class apart. @Nemesis I'm not talking about merely having brown skin, that's perfectly okay to be curious about that. I'm talking more about discrimination against "brown Asians". Especially people from countries with large immigrant worker populations in Singapore. By no means am I saying this is widespread. Most Singaporeans are perfectly fine. Especially younger generations. But it happens more times than you think. From casual racism like moving tables or refusing to sit next to someone in the bus, to blatant racism like assumptions that you're a domestic or a blue-collar worker, to hiring/renting discrimination, to things that blew up nationally like those blogs by Yang Kaiheng, the brownface ads, to the string of domestic worker abuse.

I've noticed that race baiting is a common theme among this particular demographic of middle-aged Singaporean Chinese women. Many of them seem to have a racist attitude towards Indians and Malays.
It seems she has a racist attitude and looks down at minority race and look down at people who don't have a degree. Her behaviour is too much and not welcome to the country.
