Can you make a video detailing how French women dress in other parts of France, not in Paris? There is almost no information available online that isn’t the stereotypical Parisian woman. French country life requires very different clothing than in the city, and I’d love to see examples if you know of any in film and on RU-vid. You are very good at explaining things and I enjoy your content! Thank you!
Check out my sezane video, I touch upon non-parisian style a bit! As for the movies, I can make a video with some classic french movies if you want? Thank you for the comment!
Definitely interested in your take on French vs tourist behavior. Great video - aligns with what I’ve seen on my many trips to Paris including one in June for 2 weeks. Parisians look chic but effortless whereas influencers look like they are trying VERY hard.
I’d love to see a video comparing tourist life vs real life. I lived in France (not Paris) for two semesters when I was in uni but haven’t visited again since. (It’s been years now). Happy to relive some of the time through your videos which I’m happy I’ve discovered!
I immediately liked your channel. 😊 👏 Even though I don’t understand English well, I will still watch your videos, it’s very interesting! At the same time I’ll learn English🌞
An aesthetic is just that, a look. The boho aesthetic has nothing to do with how bohemians actually dressed. It's a cute look. Y'all take things too literal.
Stumbled upon your videos and while I have never been to Paris, I have been to many parts in the south of France and just like any place, most people wear whatever. French Girl Chic very much is a social media thing. I dunno I immediately think of my own culture and how it can be perceived by others by it´s very obvious stereotypes. I´m Dutch and when a tourist only goes to Amsterdam, you don´t know Dutch culture, Dutch style or Dutch people. Paris does not represent France either.
I don't really like any sort of cosplaying a nationality based on stereotypes... I'm here for taking inspiration though. If I go to some other place, I wear my usual clothes (unless they are culturally inappropriate). I don't want to pretend to be a local if I'm not. I'm okay with my own nationality.
Hello Mam! I think you well and fit. "I recently visited your RU-vid channel and I was impressed by the quality of your content. I believe that your videos deserve more views and likes. If you don't mind, I would like to share some advice with you. Would you be open to hearing it?"
Which actually references the times when Russian aristocracy was obsessed with French culture (they would even speak French between each other), so, knowing the language, France was probably the first choice to emigrate to 🤓
@@elizavetat3130 oooo thank you for the history lesson!! Are you watching/did you watch The Great? I’ve finished season 1 (and I’m aware it’s not super accurate)
Three things I had jotted down- Beige trench coat 🧥 for ladies Brief case or satchels, men like everyone carries a bag of some sort around(?) From a note I made when I visited last year in fall, Is it just me? Can any Parisian shout! Deny or maybe confirm Cool video! 👍
I was in paris last year as a tourist and yes while a gorgeous city a lot of glamour. I agree youtubers putting presure on us about the parissian look which its a lie. I walked mostly with flat sandals and lining pants or sometimes blue jeans and felt really good. I was at galleries with those outfits and felt fine in them. Lol. The weather in Paris in august is insanley hot to be walking on a tweed outfit. I adored Paris but definitley the looks are not stiletos and tweed jackets lol. My suggestion to girls going to paris is dress nice but not over think it and forget about heels. Go either with sneakers or flat sandals.
Your idea of what Parisian girls are is just a perspective of someone poor. I assume you do not live between the 1eme and 16 eme, and do not hang out in the most prestigious places. That's jus your reality tho, not the full reality.
come on honey, the true parisian chic is Jane Birkin and Inès de la Fraisange. neutral colours, jeans, blazer or chanel jacket, flats, nothing "ostentatoire". not the colourful dresses and high heels of Emily. of course there are old women who wear exclusively chanel and young fashionistas but that's not the majority. in fact, what is liberating in France is that you can have your own style without standing out since people dress in such a varied manner.
