Good review. My LTT 1301 flimsy plastic bolt release tab broke off within 200 rounds. I agree with your comment about an $1800+ gun having unnecessarily cheap parts. A couple of suggestions: Reverse your shell carrier so the loop is at the rear. It is less likely to rip off the side saddle as you move through obstacles. Mount the light at 6 o’clock so you can add a sling mount forward at 9. Having the option to add a sling with QD’s is especially helpful in days-long classes.
Both are top notch tools that will serve you well. No need to wonder which is the king? I see them as equals. Yes, I do have both like you. Pick the one YOU like and next... Buy both? BTW: My LE m4 comes with the extended mag tube and the telescoping stock. Great content!!! Thank you!!!
Damn, that's a tough one. Can't go wrong with either but I'm just bored of black and fde. OD is cool too, but it seemed that grey was the unique pick to mess with this time around.
