Bought one of these brand new, the later version with standard chequering….particularly nice wood, still own and use it today (mainly on pigeons now). Shot thousands upon thousands of shells without a single issue, absolutely cracking gun that I’ve never wanted to replace! Very much enjoyed watching your review 👍🏼

While searching for a DT10 in 2008 I picked up a 682 Gold E at the NSCA US Open and was really impressed. I found my DT10, but passing on that 682 still haunts me. Great review.

Thank you for another terrific review of a legendary model. I never owned one but I know the earlier, scale checkering had a habit of detaching the odd scale but I think the later versions reverted to standard checkering and that horrible 'C' spanner for the chokes didn't last a crack. I love the history of things and only though people like yourself Matthew that most of us ever learn anything of it, thanks again!

Thanks Matt for another great video. I look forward to Sunday evenings every week now for your next video. I have an original 682 trap, with the wider frame, and did own a 682 Gold Sporter, which I think was a transitional model - it had the slimmer frame and mobil-chokes. As a left-hander Beretta was one of the few makers who made off the shelf guns to suit the minority of us. It is hard to know when the wider frame actually stopped being used, sometime in the mid to late 90s?. Keep up the great work!

Again a very watchable and informative video. Matt always makes me want to own every one of the guns he is reviewing. Interestingly I have a Beretta 686 I think as my son is shooting it and he now has anew gun. Will find out if it is now surplus to his requirements and confirm spec. looking forward to seeing your website and see what you have been up to in recent months.

Great review, very honest and not bias in any way like a lot of reviews. Beretta should keep making a model that is so popular, why change it for what?.

My gold e is the gun I learned to shoot with and is the gun I’m still shooting today 16 years later,never serviced still goes bang when you pull the trigger excellent.I paid £1490 for it from a well known shop in Essex absolute bargain.Matt is spot on about the leather recoil pad there is no give in it but does allow for a smooth shoulder mount.

I’ve a soft spot for the 682 x trap high rib and the 391 gold semi autos the older SO series of guns are also very interesting TGS outdoors did a video on them the other day

Shooting a Browning Prosport sold to me by Matt . Took my old 682 gold e out at weekend and was great very different to the Prosport !

Its the best model beretta. Old and new models.

Back in the day I very nearly bough one of these. They were up there with the best. I have only ever own 1 beretta and the preference is browning of which I have had many. I currently have a 30 inch ultra xs non adjustable. And it makes me shot well. Lol. One thing is there is slight pitting of the barrels as it sat in leaned in the cabinates for a time.is there any thing I can do to repair it or even get a set of barrels for it. Love u channel and I hope it grows for you

Hello Matt, really enjoy your reviews, the best on the internet. Have you come across the Browning 425 Privilege. I had one for many years and I believe there were very few sold in this country. I spoke to a Browning rep at a game fair and he told me it was launched at a retail price of 7k, which limited it's sale. Any chance of a review ?

The Beretta 690, 692 and currently the 694 are successor models to the 682, right? Is the 682 better than the 694 or are they not comparable? I have tried to buy a 682, in Germany this model is very rarely offered. An interesting and informative video, as so often. Thank you!

Matt, If possible I would love your thoughts on a new gun an ATA pro sport adjustable only just seen one so may not be many about. I doubt you will remember sorting my wife and I out with guns me a Miroku and Mel an ATA my oldest son is now showing an interest in shooting so I thought the pro sport would fit the bill, as Mel is loving hers

The top barrel on my silver pigeon patterned 80/20. The bottom barrel 50/50. Beretta would not issue an RMA to fix the problem. Beretta sux.

Review a Rizzini BR110 IPS 12ga sporting, nothing out there when you search this model. You could be the first. Another gun to look at- Fossari CX9 Sporting - again do a search nothing out there.
