I've grown to love Beretta. I got into handguns in 1989, when Berettas were everywhere and Lethal Weapon was so hot. I moved away from them to polymer and returned 2 years ago after a friend bought a 92A1. I was blown away. I've bought 3 and scheming on a fourth. I feel that Beretta is trying really hard to please the shooting community, perhaps more so than any other maker. This man seems like a good dude, too.
I’m in love with their semi-auto shotguns, my A400 Lite is hands down the smoothest, most well crafted shotgun I’ve ever/currently owned. I was a Benelli guy since the day I could legally buy guns until about 4 years ago when I bought a discounted A3 I just happened to see in a pawnshop.
Beretta sure out did themselves this time. Bravo. The comp. series is the most beautiful gun I've ever seen.Gonna start saving up, my wife will be pissed. Beretta is the best.
@@seth3000gt don't bother? I own the 92A1, and against the other 9 polymers I own, the Beretta makes them all feel like toys in comparison. Even my $1100 HK USP feels like a hollow piece of garbage next to the 92A1...Beretta bleeds quality. And solidity..They feel like shooting a gun on ball bearings..I JUST now purchased my 92A1...and this is my 1st impressions after around 2000 rds...Would u mind elaborating on your opinion sir?
@Jbog07 I don't know, the action on the px4 could serve as a good template for it. Your touching on my yet to be conceived perfect firearm. A 92 open slide frame, shrunk down with a 3.25 or 3.5 barrel, with the trigger & firing mechanisms of the px4, a safety/g spring decocker in the same location as the 84/85 cheetahs, firing 9mm out of a 9 or 10+1 magazine. If i knew how and had the means to build one, id be well on my way to making one. The only one that has come close is their Argentina brothers, Bersa with the tpr9c.....
Just got the full size for my dad for Father’s Day. He LOVES it. He had an FS for decades and traded it for two different pistols years ago and always regretted it. So we surprised him with a 92X and he was ecstatic with joy. ☺️ I’m looking forward to trying it with him at our next range session. I’m more of a Glock and Ruger guy myself😁🤷🏻♂️
I love my berettas… 92fs inox, compact, 92X Centurion, PX4 Storm compact …Beretta make some of the best firearm in the world.. 500 years of Experience not bad by anyone standards..
@@seth3000gt wow, the USA factories have to follow the same manufacturing process as the Italians do...if what you are saying is the truth, someone is seriously dropping the ball. One of my range buddies has this 92X, made in USA, and it's every bit the quality and fit/finish my Italian 92A1 is...and more refined. You must have gotten a hold of a serious LEMON if that's your opinion on these.
I just got a 92x RDO Compact version I think I should have gotten the Centurion instead, I kinda like the idea of all 3 fingers on the grip...Please make the grip/frame modules available for separate purchase!! Please please!!🙏
First gun I ever fired was a 92fs, and I was instantly comfortable and accurate with it. Somehow didn't buy one as a first gun, but I'm getting one for myself for my birthday this year. Now I just have to decide if I want a 92x or an m9a1. Really need to go get my hands on both and see which I like more I think
Cool stuff; I didn't realize there were that many choices. I guess there's another Beretta in my future but I'll sure be happy if I could buy one optics ready. Love my Berettas.
Did the 92X series also come standard with the D hammer spring, steel guide rod and metal trigger? Another video mentioned it, but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else.
i wish they would make the compact even more compact like just make a polymer/composite lower half with a single stack and why cant it just be as short as the dust cover there's still quite a bit hanging over for the compact and i wish it was more of a CCW firearm i love the 92s platform and you just cant beat the accuracy
Going to pick up my 92x Centurion tomorrow. Super pumped. I carried the full size 92 in the military. Loved the pistol, but the grip was too big for me to shoot it as accurately as I would have liked to. The Centurion should be perfect.
Man this guns are selling like hot cookies! I'm trying to find the 92x FR around Dallas area and it's not available anywhere even the Beretta gallery don't have it! 😩
I have a 92FS which ironically I bought in 1992. I used to do a ton of shooting and always cleaned and oiled my weapons before putting them away. Life pretty much got in the way of playtime and I haven't done any shooting for probably 15 years. Since I am under "stay-at-home" orders, and bored out of my mind, I decided to open the gun cabinet and get everything cleaned up. I won't mention any other brands by name but some of them should be embarrassed by the condition some of their products are in- rust, etc. The quality is a joke for some makers apparently. My 92FS looked almost brand new, even though I know I put well over 1000 rounds through it- I figured that I would start there. It has an issue that I haven't been able to solve- the magazine will not release with a push of the button. I have to push the release button and pry it out with a tool since I already lost pretty much every fingernail trying to get it to work. Is there somewhere that I can find advice on how to fix this issue?
I figured out the problem. The part of the plastic grips that are shaped to fit into the handle were dragging on the magazines. Apparently plastic swells over time??? And it is a good thing that I didn't need this gun to save my life!! A little bit of work with a Dremel tool should fix it.
Love the Beretta 92 lineup. It's probably where most of my money for firearms went. Any thoughts on making a staggered stack APX Carry? I love the form factor with more rounds in case I need it.
Jackson Walter I hear where your coming from, but to be honest I don’t know if it would be worth it. I have the APX carry and compact I also have the Springfield HellCat. To be honest the Carry is a nice shooter, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the HellCat for capacity or shoot ability in essentially the same size. I also have the compact with the 13 rd. magazine and extended 15. The 15 will give you the feeling of the Centurion grip size on the compact platform. I have taken my carry dropped it to backup duty. If you have a range that offers rentals try the HellCat or APX a Compact or Centurion.
I have the 92 x compact. I love it and I have had many Beretta's. Unfortunately it came with 10-round magazines and I'm not and a commie state. Do regular 92 magazines work with the 92x
It's a shame that their costumer service is so bad! I activate the warranty 1 month ago and until know not even a mail I receive, is like they don't exist. Also the local represent of their brand has the same behaviour. the worst gun brand if you have a problem with your gun. run away!
Is it really necessary to add little common sense messages on the gun? I mean capable of firing without mag signs are normal. But read the manual first sign? That's a little silly. Does no justice to such a beautiful gun. It's like plastering read before use on the door of a new car. Silly.
@sergionatali3071 1 secondo fa I don't like the idea of a safety on any handgun I own. To avoid engaging the safety just have BERETTA "G KIT" installed. The G KIT allows for you to convert your standard F/FS series 92/96 or M9A3 to “G”, or decock only; it allows for the user to safely decock the hammer and returns the firearm immediately to firing condition upon releasing the levers. It's a good little feature to have.
