I have both the m4 L/E and the 1301 LTT. I do think the 1301 and the m4 are more alike than the m4 and the A300. The 1301s are more shotgun than the A300 and more refined. A closer look at the 1301 vs the A300 will show that. I enjoy the refinement of the m4 L/E and the 1301 LTT and I am willing to pay the additional cost to have that refinement. With that said, all three are viable fighting shotguns and should serve well. Enjoy your choice!!!!! Good fighting shotgun content!!! PS: I do tend to reach for the m4 more.
I love mine. It'll eat anything. Do yourself a favor and get the Nordic clamp and tube. The tube is aluminum and slotted for the Nordic clamp so it won't walk
I went head to head with my buddy's M4 and my newly bought A300 and we shot full powered slugs from Winchester. 1600 FPS and damn my A300 killed my shoulder vs the M4 where I barely felt it.
Some reviews said to wait 24 hrs before you use you side saddle. I pressed my in every inch then waited about 5 days and never had a adhesive issue yet.. jus fyi for future owners
Will the M4 run the lighter target loads? Looking for a good option for 3 gun. Right now it’s a toss up for me between the A300 ultima patrol, 940 JM Pro, or an M2. I like the M4 but hear they need to be fed full power slugs and buck.
Mine runs the target loads fine. I have heard with new ones that it's best to break them in with full power buckshot or slugs, but it might just depend on your particular shotgun.
It seems like the gas operated shotguns like the Beretta have less issues with lower velocity ammo. My a300 has ran 1100 fps really reliably. With the beneli being inertia operated, the recoil impulse is softer but seems to be finicky at times with lower velocity ammo.
I noticed the GG&G optic mount on the A300. These are only listed under the 1301 section on their website. I’m assuming the 1301 and A300 accept the same aftermarket optic mounts?
I took the gamble on my a300 in this video and it worked! Only issue I had was that I'm running a holosun 403r and the front screw is partially covered by the optic. I had to get a set of ball head allen wrenches to get it tight.
why did you drill the sling hole on the right side inside of left side of the gun? The sling hole on right doesn't allow the gun to hang properly quickly for right hand shooter
