Awesome shotgun and at that price point it's unbeatable. Picked one up in 12ga in Bottomland and the bronze finish for AZ coyote hunting and so far its unreal and blends in the desert well. Lots of nice upgrades over my A300 Outlander.

@@eighttenoutdoors I have a 300 Ultima and a 400 Xtreme plus. You will actually prefer the front safety over time as you wing shoot. As you sit at the ready your finger is already forward and the simple down press to the trigger finger going to the trigger is MUCH more fluid. There is no large hand movements to disengage the safety and the weapon can be kept safe until the time of shot. Almost everyone who has made this initial comment walks it back over time.

@@chrisshupe5427 it’s personal preference honestly. There is nothing incorrect about it. With birds swinging I found it to be more successful. Next time you’re out shooting clays try a swing shot looking down the side of the barrel. I’m not saying put gun completely sideways lol. It’s just to the side of the rail.

Best bet is to handle and shoot both. Yes the a300 is gas and the Affinity is inertia… I love the feel of the a300 and how flawless it runs.

Generally speaking, I think the 300 wins out because it includes 80-85% of the features of the A400 a $2k gun in a sub $1000 package. Additionally the kick off system makes a large difference when shooting 3" loads and make 2 3/4" loads feel like nothing. The gun is also highly versatile and could be an all year gun if you wanted it to be.

Hard to judge honestly. The a300 in the video is a 20 gauge and the affinity is a 12 gauge. I have shot the a300 in a 12 and I don’t really feel a huge difference.

@@user-gu3cq6sp5b one of my buddies runs one and swears by it! It’s a little heavier in my opinion but shoots nice.

@@eighttenoutdoors I think the heavier guns swing better. You don’t whip them around as much as the lighter guns, I thought about the SBE3 but I like the light recoiling guns
