Glückauf Kaserne Unna... Anno '97 hatte ich dort meine Grundi beim 6. Inst.Btl 7 + 1 Monat Wachausbildung Stammeinheit war danach das 4. Inst.Btl 71 in Augustdorf War eine schöne Zeit!
The tanks today really are fantastic weapons of war. I include the recovery vehicle in that comment too. The “A” frame for towing is neat too. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇦🇺
An alternative would be to use two cables attached crossed corners. That way the towed vehicle follows you, but still needs a driver for breaking. Got recovered a few times that way. A least gets me to a dry patch of land so I can fix my vehicle. A lot of times if you let recovery know the problem, they'll hand you the parts after the tow. We were responsible for a lot of our own repairs, not a lot of service stations in a war zone!!😂🤣
In general with tracked vehicles using a tow bar is vastly preferred because if the engine on the towed vehicle is out then there's no cooling for the transmission and it's super bad for them to be pulled with the "drive shafts" hooked up to the tracks. You can just throw it in neutral and tow a short distance, but as soon as it's safe you should stop and pull the shafts to save the transmission. As Barry said, you can also do it with cables, which is the truly fast way to do it and leaves the brakes functional on the vehicle being towed (because the brakes are built into the transmission on most tracked vehicles), but that's for emergencies only and just to get far enough out of the firefight to swap to a tow bar properly.
2:05 Immer diese Flaschparker. Soen Büffel ist schon was Feines für den Stadtverkehr. xD BTW.: Publikum verzieht keine Miene... Hey mein Auto! hätte ich gerufen...
@@AP-RSIare you retarded ? Your brain can’t comprehend a simple hyperbole and irony I see, it’s never that easy, that’s my point. And if you by any chance are trying to say that ukrop nazis (khakhols - Ukrainians) recover their tanks with blown up tracks from heavy fighting areas, you are clearly an uninformed idiot. All of their Bradleys and leos are burned down to the skeletons right where they were hit 😂
