That has to be one of the best Wheelhouse layouts that I have seen. You can never have too much information on the bridge of a vessel. The more information available, the more informed your decisions are. One of the things that I learnt whilst serving in the Royal Navy, is that when it comes to being at sea and navigating through various hazards, you can never have too much information at your disposal.
John James As a USCG licensed Captain,I agree. But you have to know how to organize all that data into a useful plan of action.Knowing where yoy are is always nice, but the goal is to know how to safely, get to where you want to go.
Now this is a boat to travel the ocean-all over the world. I really like the layout. I want it(smile). Can it be handle by a woman as her Captain? Great video
Bering . Is. One. Of the best steel. Yatch builders on this planet., If I had the money they would be. At the. Top of my list. To buy one... Especialy the bering77 is my choice or 80...
Do you have an updated hull design in the works? Similar to the 50, 60, or 75. The 65 is a great looking boat as it is. The interior colors and woods are very tasteful and unique. I would love to see how her lines would look with the other design. For me I've seen this look on so many boats. For the money I'm looking for something different yet brute! The sweeping lines from the bow are amazing. The 77 is my favorite from all of your vessels so far. Thanks
We have developed a more modern B65 last year. Her hull design has remained untouched, however we've made some changes to the exterior glass panels and portholes and interiors - www.beringyachts.com/model/bering-65-nomad/
So how did your 65 the 65 that was Built-in 2013 keeps stability I noticed it was a gyro stabilizer in the last rent of this one But in your 2013 build you had 2 freezers and and a scuba bottle storage and filling station so did you use Finn stabilizers on that 1 ?
nbadhorse The American Ash varnished interiors were customized by Serge's owner. Given the fact that we are a semi-custom builder, we can use different types of wood according to the owner's wishes.
BeringYachts My comment looks more harsh than I intended. If you didn't give your customers what they wanted you wouldn't be in business. I get that. I was only stating my personal opinion. The Bering isn't the best of its class without reason.
Thank you for your interest in Bering 65! You can also check our new Bering 72! While creating Bering72 the Bering Yachts’ in-house design team has collected feedback from the owners and captains of the 65 model after the boats navigated more than 100000 miles in different climate and sea conditions. beringyachts.com/model/bering-72/
+🚢 Bering Yachts Thank you very much, she is a gorgeous beast. Would love to see videos while underway and a video tour of both the interior and exterior.
The rear half of the walkway is covered; the front upper portion is not - look up Nautistyle's review of the Bering 65' Explorer 2013. They go into great detail and you can see it's clearly covered over the lower rear half. I think the newer models have the full covering over the walkways. Quite amazing ships - I can't call them a mere boat - Bering Yachts are truly something special.
As a Scandinavian I must say that nordhavn boats all of them pleases my Scandinavian Viking Blood if I compare them to any jot else in the world that have nothing on it they are the most beautiful and practical boats or yachts in the world
Although I liked the look of the engine room and the wheelhouse.the colour was to me very sick looking the lounge reminded me of my doctors waiting room sorry.
It might be the light wood colour scheme, that gives you the impression of coldness. Check out Bering 65 "Golden Mile" video, I think you might find the walnut varnish much more inviting :)
🚢 Bering Yachts I wouldn't bother with the negative comments. I have worked as assembler, machinist, and now a technician over the last 25 years and I know how to spot outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail when I see it! I have got to say this has to be some of the best work that have ever seen. Can't wait to place a order one day myself.
