I mean there’s already a tasks bar off setting to avoid this, but it depends on what the lobby owner wants. It’s also why they give fake tasks to the impostor, so they have to cleverly use that to their advantage when defending themselves

From everything I've seen, those fake tasks aren't enough when competing against skilled players because the RNG of tasks that an imposter receives can hinder their play if they're tasks that no other crewmate has or are visual ones that can be seen by other players. Hiding the taskbar doesn't prevent those issues from occurring. Adding the feature of allowing the imposters to complete a selected number of tasks wouldn't be hard to implement and would give the imposters a better ability to blend in. I'll illustrate an example. There is a game between two crewmates and one imposter, and each crewmate has to complete five tasks (a total of 10) to win; the game is over if they do. An imposter is allowed one task to complete per the lobby settings. If an imposter completes their tasks then this adds to the bar and removes a task that the crewmate has to complete at random. There would be a delay for this in order to not raise suspicion quickly. This is the trade-off that forces the imposter to be calculated when they use their task (since it counts against them) and to catch a crewmate off guard if they're not checking their completions. @@Katsumicchi
