Back in my adopted hometown of Berlin, I decided to check out the city's three Soviet war memorials, where thousands of the more than 81,000 Red Army troops who sacrificed their lives in the decisive Battle of Berlin are laid to rest.
Soviet war memorials have always been very fascinating to me. They're absolutely worth preserving as not only a memorial for the soldiers that fought and died, but of another era of history which, for better or worse, still impacts much of the world today. I feel like it's easy to forget how influential and powerful the USSR was and memorials like these help remind us of that. I really appreciate the tour and the history you shared, great video, man.
