I think her tattoo wasn't a tattoo, im pretty sure it was the word mine in German that Andi wrote on her while she was sleeping.

Gotcha! That makes more sense, ‘I had originally noted but forgot to say I wonder if he wrote on her’. That scene seemed like it was forcing the audience to make quick assumptions about what she saw, it could just be me though. I’m one of those people who can’t see texts on phones in movies because the writing is too small for my vision and that always makes me mad because I’m left unsure of what the character saw. I felt similarly here. Thank you for clearing that up for me!

Great video. Thanks for pointing out the redflags

I like the review but am I the only one who felt like he was victim blaming? Yes there were red flags and she didn’t see them but ultimately there is always a reason for people missing signs like that and it still doesn’t make it their fault for being stupid or horny or naive

I’m glad someone else agreed this was their take away from the video as well

Great review. Creative, and helped me to see lots of symbolism I didn't see previously.

She 100% had some Stockholm Syndrome. I one point she was accepting her fate until she realized he was going to kill her. It was clear when she sympathized with him when he told her his dad died. The book he was looking at was the same one Claire was looking at right before meeting him and yes following a stranger because you’re horny is a no no. Tourists are usually an easy target for getting kidnapped.

With the mess up of the word when he said complicate instead of contemplate I think it was 💯 percent intentional because later in the movie he does the same thing to another woman and she corrects him which confirmed she was a foreigner but we see her friend call her from the distance and she leaves. I also noticed that when the dog in the garden barked it wasn't at her it was at the guy as a warning ⚠.

Thanks for watching! Yeah the little details like that are what makes the film worth watching.

It was Claire with a look of fear while she was tied up

Big Vic Media, I was hoping you would explain how Clare ended up with the key at the end of the movie. When Andi left for work having asked her to pack, he clearly locked the door and had the keys. When he returned he used them and clearly didn't leave them behind in any of the doors. All of a sudden at the end, she has the keys and locks him in. Thank you for the summary but you're not giving and explanation. You're just giving a summary. Do you know the answer to my question?
@BigVicMedia

That’s a good question. Last time I watched this movie was 5 or 6 months ago so I’m not totally sure.

Well , i saw that clair had lots of chances to get out from that appartement she just did not think i suppose , because in that appartement there are lot of tools that would help her to escape for example she would set the house on fire or just set the door on fire why wouldnt she think about it , i think the movie makers sucks on that,they should made her stuck in like obe those escape room where you have nothing to escape but though ppl escape instead she had the whole appartement full of usefull stuff to escape

I really love this movie, I was looking for a movie review of it but this one comes off so very misogynistic. I hope you understand that calling her an easy target, blaming her for being targeted by predator, saying she should’ve slept with someone before her travels and a lot else was wildly inappropriate and victim blaming. If she was a man, you would not be making these comments. There was several times in the movie she made it aware, she has a mother who cares about her and knows where she is, and she in the end broke free from him while saving another girl. This man is a predator, he was praying on his students not just innocent travelers. You put blame on her instead of blame on the predator. Next time you’re speaking about women in film, or women in general don’t sound like such a rude person when addressing women. The video was ruined by this for me personally. I’m guessing your audience is mainly men and that’s why you don’t get critiqued but try to evolve
@BigVicMedia
@BigVicMedia Год назад
I’m sorry I made you feel that way. I certainly understand your point of view. I should have done a better job at addressing that the abduction blame is fully Andi’s. My only goal is to try highlight everything of significance in these movies including the details the characters are missing that leads to their demise or victory.

Shut up !! Hes giving HIS OPINION AND REVIEW !!! and also she didnt save no one .. the one that saved her was the student after seeing the Polaroid picture in class because she remembers she saw the victim in his room traumatized so fled to open the door for her and then hide in the cabinet.the chick was naive and wasnt thinking, she just wanted to get boned. She didn't have a tattoo it was sharpied on with the word MINE. If it was a tatoo she would have been in pain.

Oh yeah. I agree. I was pissed. I am sure every woman (including myself) was saying I would do this or that but it is a whole other story when you are in that situation. I wanted her to clock him with the frying pan...and what about knives in the kitchen?
