Bernard Petiot is the Performance Director of Cirque du Soleil Bernard Petiot has a background in advanced gymnastics and excelled as a gymnast initially before moving into a prolific career as a coach. In addition to taking part in 13 World Championships, he trained four Olympic athletes and in 1998, Cirque du Soleil recruited Bernard to lead their training programs for acrobats and supervise coaches and medical staff.
