Sat around barely old enough to crawl while Dad spun King Curtis' Memphis Soul Stew. I still love this music and drums. Not sure why I picked up guitar when my Dad was drumming stuff like this but it works.

Maybe you are overwhelmed with drummers like Virgil Donati and Marco Minneman but those guys wouldnt be around if they didnt had influences like him:)
