I own the Bernette B35, there are a few more stitches in that mechanical model. I have been sewing for 40 years. I do not find that this machine vibrates excessively, but it feels like a solid little machine. I've sewn on lightweight challis and it worked great.
Do you know of anyway you can control the speed of mechinal machines? In the 1970's my grandmother had a Singer foot pedal that controlled the speed from slow to fast for young or new sewers. I want a mechinal machine but I need speed control for my disabled students. Thank you.
@Heloise O'Byrne I understand that. I was asking if he knows if anyone still makes foot pedals with speed control for mechinal machines. It is not on the machine but the actual foot pedal.
@Heloise O'Byrne I ended up going with Eversewn Sparrow 20. It is considered a "cousin" to Bernina. Meaning it has ties to Bernina. It is computerized but affordable. I have found a lot of people are using Eversewn Sparrow 20' s to teach beginner sewist, so I think it was the right choice.
@@kazunoify hey, i guess i am without knowing it, it's the way you wrote it, like he invented the machine. it may have been written two years ago but i mean if i can still read it...
