Good intentions, giving free education, increasing the minimum wage to $15, universal health care, and taxing the rich. I feel sorry for the rich :D But I feel sorry for the other people that are living pay check to pay check and those who can’t work because they are disabled or just old. Why, you wonder? Well, increasing the minimum wage will put more money into working class who is currently earning less than $15, but it has an adverse effect. It creates inflation because there’s more money floating around. Unless he’s thinking of increasing the social security benefits for those who can’t work, he will cut their purchasing power drastically. People that are making $13 - 15 an hour currently will not be able to get a $5 raise. But even say you are making $20 an hour, which isn’t much, get a $5 raise; will only be getting 25% increase. Your purchasing power is going to be affected unless you are rich. The rich have wealth and they will always have wealth, they will always have a way to suppress the people. Free Education, ask a college student how hard it is to get classes. Instead of focusing on getting more people into crowded schools, increase the student per teacher ratio. Perhaps then, we can beat other nations in education...
