Hi Jeff, I have the 770QE small screen and it has been 'upgraded' to be like the 770 QE Plus (big screen). My question is: The video you are showing here is this for a new and totally separate update from the 'upgrade' that made the 770QE act as a 770 QE Plus?
Hi Jeff, my technician in South Africa did the firmware update on my small screen b770qe plus and it’s deleted my straight stitch plate. I have sent him this video as I suspect he did the wrong screen update for my machine. Should I get him to remove the firmware update and try again. Does Bernina Switzerland send you firmware updates for large and small screen? I don’t find our technicians any where as knowledgeable as yourself.
Ever since I had the upgrade on my 770qe (small screen), my machine had had constant problems. In the shop 4 times in 5 months. Mostly thread cutter issues. I’ve asked if the upgrade could have been a factor. Tech says no. Can you provide feedback? Thanks.
