My screen is frozen on my brand new Bernina L790. I used it today for the first time, after taking the two day class from the Certified Bernina instructor who was visiting my local quilt shop. I have turned it on and off, unplugged it and plugged it back in. I cleaned the inside thoroughly with the little brush and micro vacuum. Please, please advise.on what I must do, I was using stitch #6, saved it and now I can’t get out of that screen. Thank you so much!
Dear Rita Sokol, Thanks for your inquiry. Assuming you mean your new L 890 and not B 790, the procedure we propose is: Turn off the machine. Press with one finger onto the touchscreen, while turning the machine on: that is the procedure to start the machine in “screen calibration mode”. Calibrate the screen using the touch pen. If that does not solve the issue, the machine/you need to see your dealer for support.

Dear Maggie, thanks for your inquiry. Very challenging to do an online diagnosis not seeing live what is failing. There can be different things: The lower looper pipe did not close properly at the joining point? The air threader does not work? There is dust accumulating in the pipe and it needs cleaning? As it is not possible to shoot a thread through, use the wire threader to bring the cleaning thread in (refer to our cleaning video in the playlist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EAWAJi9LgMA.html ) We propose you use the wire threader to thread the lower looper in order to be able to finish your project and then take the machine to a dealer for some tender love and care.
