Sorry--the "1" is a misnomer. I was originally provided with only the video in which I was participating.

As a non-musician, I have been trying to discover how musicians react to the conductor's nuances. It is so subtle...I find it hard to follow. But you often hear it if you compare conductors. But I still wonder if it is the musicians or the conductor who is making the difference. I also would love to hear from musicians.

The “nuances” are worked out in rehearsal, the results of which are revealed in concert. 😎🎹

I agree! Lenny was so brilliant and charismatic....but as sort of a footnote I always think "...but he was so addicted to nicotine", which ultimately caused his demise.

he lived til he was 72? why such a tragedy? sounds like a good, full life to me.
