This completely blow me away. Hearing Ash Crow with a talented female voice gives the song a whole new dynamic. Makes me feel like I'm hearing it for the first time again. Absolutely spectacular!

I really like this cover, but not for the same reasons I like the original. It's almost like your cover and the original are two sides of the same coin. If I had to use two words to describe the original they would be Welling Rage and does a good job of representing his deep rage If I had to use a few words to describe your cover they would be Bone chilling Sadness and does a good job of representing the source of his rage. The loss of all his commrades and his deep feeling of betrayal and his inability to trust or be near anyone ever again. I think it would be interesting to hear a proper cross between the two.

Well that's a horrifying thought. Considering what happened when some guys tried to rape her when she was already mentally a vegetable. Imagine that happening with the armour. You'd end up with an essentially mindless demon depopulating the entire country while screaming with completely insane rage the whole time, only stopping when there was nothing living left in sight.

Beautiful and sad. There was a comment that summed it up really well, 'two sides of the same coin'. It's like your version is the piece of humanity within him that tries to quell the maddening rage. Remembering comrades. If this had a video yours would be full of the bands old battles and them sitting in the camp mixed with images of that...dark day. I'd like this version to be an ending song if it were ever in the anime. God, I can see Casca dancing in the moonlight for some reason when I listen to this.
