Every time the man has a reason to be, that reason betrays him. Leaves him at the bottom. And forces him to claw forward back up the mountain. And just when he thinks he has reached the summit and beaten fate, the cycle repeats. Pain. Sorrow. Loss. Death. Rage. His theme is like the sound of a silent howl echoing into the void. But since mortal minds cannot interpret concepts that they cannot fathom, we hear this song instead.
Hes been fighting his whole life the only thing he wants is peace yet every time he comes close he is forced back into the endless cycle of war that is destiny he saw his comrades get sacrificed his lover raped and one of the only people he called his friend betrayed him for power of the god hand leaving him alone and with one arm the song shows his side that wants peace deep inside its what we all want and yet the only way to truly understand peace is through death thus stating the cycle again
When I first started playing piano I thought this song was impossible to play, but here I am today playing the song completely. Thank you for the tutorial, I've always wanted to play this song.
That was the same as me, but curiosity made me binge Berserk. It's fucking powerful man, I literally felt the story. The art and the dialogue work so well together and make the story really feel, real. The characters see something horrifying or going through a surreal moment, you felt it. You see guts chop a man and his horse in half with the dragon slayer, you felt it. You see Griffith sacrificing his friends for power without a shred of remorse, you felt the rage of Guts. Berserk was and still will be, awesome. RIP Miura
@@MasterGamerXGamerboi Hey man, with all due respect, you might want to reconsider that part of your comment where you spoil a certain something Griffith does. This is a thread about folks who haven't read/watched this series after all, I'd hate for someone to have the Eclipse spoiled.
Guts made no choices in his life other than to fight. After his fight is over, he can be at peace, but there is always another fight to come. And he knows its only a matter of time before he will have to kill again. And if he doesn't want to die in misery like those around him, he will have to keep on fighting until he destroys every demon within the reach of his sword, or until they destroy him.
When the most brutal warrior, the strongest of all, but then realized they still have heart and this song describe it clearly why they become....because it's already torned apart into pieces amd it's hard to heal
@@luciusvalentine5722, okay so I see you on like almost every berserk video I've seen, are you the real Kentaro Miura? Or are you a fake account that is as big of a fan of berserk as I am if not more?
Pretty sure this track is "Guts Theme" "blood and guts" is entirely different. A quick RU-vid search is all it takes people. Anand nvm I misread the title. To be fair I didn't type "guts theme" into my search bar but rather the other one.
Do ya think its possible to release another version of the midi without the vocals? Ive tried for the life of me to edit the midi myself but am hella limited since im on mobile. I wanna learn this song without the vocals cause I wanna try singing those parts myself.
I learned from this how to play up until 1:27... No matter what it is asking you to reach beyond an octave - I'm a fairly tall guy with long fingers, I can barely barely do this and theirs no room for mobility while reaching like this. Makes this unplayable. As I can't read sheet music, this is the only video I've found that can get me this far... If anyone can point me in the direction of a playable version or explain how you've adapted through this part, I'd be interested. I'm thinking it might have to be played without the melody (which is the most iconic part).
Nvm, saw the wrong part, I too cant play the c# - mid e. I believe it'll be fine if you take the c# out of the chord. You can also play the e with your right hand, since it is a quick note and there isnt much mobility required from the right hand during its execution.
The octave chords in the chorus on the left hand are E, D#(with the left pinkie on the lower C# in that octave chord), then normal D# and after that is B then E in the same phrase. After that it's D# twice, then back to E and finish on C#. You can then add the left hands middle notes, between the chorus to add more layer to the sound but that's how to play it with the right hand's melody. Not that difficult and I'm now just going through the repetition until my hands figure out the correct time and placements.
Who will be the one,to take the pain away? Who will be the one,to end our suffering? Who will be the one,to light the path ahead? Who will be the one,to end the bloodshed? Who will be the one,to break our chains of fate? Who will be the one,to save our broken faith? Who will be the one,to end our sorrow? Who will be the one,to end our infinite struggle?
I think it sounds better simpler. Sounds good..but i think in the case of this song, the extra notes are rather unnecessary, i think a more straightforward approach would've have a heavier impact as it would allow some notes too sink in better like Gywns theme from dark souls for example
