Guts and Godo talking is one of the most important parts of the series and somehow people still take away the idea Berserk is a story of revenge. It's largely about moving on from trauma and doing better without getting trapped in a dysfunctional cycle due to the injustices pushed upon you. NGL though Godo was kinda gaslighting a bit saying he abandoned everyone.
But he was right right? Guts went all by himself to try and "cure" his mental scars with nothing but bloody bandages abandoning not only the people he care but also his humanity or well thats how i see it
@@Nombrenooriginal I agree, but I think they messed up the dialogue saying he cast everyone aside as if most of them didn't get slaughtered out of his control. He was obviously insane and on a dysfunctional hunt for revenge which almost killed him, needing some like Godo to set it straight to him, but at the same time he was out of his mind.
@@TakezoMushashimaybe godo refers when he left the band of the hawk, That's why he says that he left everyone though in the readers perspective this was a unavoidable situation thanks to causality
I've been listening to amateur voice acting for so long that I've been kinda clinical about it cause of how bad it can be sometimes. But this was SUCH a crisp breath of Fresh air. Magnificent audio and voice acting.
This is a little out of nowhere to bring up but when it comes to audio of the 2016-2017 anime I HEAVILY suggest using the audio from the fan edit Berserk Redux because the creator makes lots of adjustments and even fixes some things.
Are those voice actors the original ones from the 97 anime? :) Guts sounds on point! Great work, I will take turns watching these videos and reading the manga. :)
