Berserk The Black Swordsman Trailer Reaction 

So piece of important information on this: 1. This is NOT an official anime, this isn't something that is not going to be streaming on Crunchyroll or Netflix. It is made by Berserk Fans and is in NO WAY attached to the Memorial Edition Movies you referred to. Most likely it will be something the fan studio, "Studio Eclypse" will be putting up on their patreon channel and if we get lucky RU-vid (though that doesn't seem likely given the graphic content found in Berserk). 2. This is going be adapting "The Black Swordsman Arc", which is the technical first arc of the Manga Source Material and the movies you are referring to are an adaptation of "The Golden Age Arc" which is the second arc of the manga (IIRC) and it is a backstory that comes after what this adaptation is covering. Though these events in story chronologically come AFTER "The Golden Age" which is the movies you are familiar with. 3. This being a fan studio and not an official studio with licensing and corporate investors is completely crowd funded by the FANS OF BERSERK. And thus that consideration should be given in terms of the animation style and quality, this isn't something being created to make money, rather it is fans sick of getting watered down poorly animated/CGI adaptations of what is arguably the greatest manga of all time.

It’ll probably be in English as well. It’s the first arc in the whole series being animated, before what the animes you’ve seen covered, but it takes place on the timeline after the eclipse. Remember it’s a fan studio so it might not be perfect like an official studio would make it but it’s the best we seen so far when it comes to unofficial stuff. The animation will hopefully be improved before release

you should read the manga bro. no anime has done a proper adaptation of berserk as whole and did it justice. the fan animation is adapting the black swordsman arc which is the 1st arc in the manga. in the timeline of the story it happens after the golden age arc which is where the eclipse happens. the golden age arc is the 2nd arc in the manga.
