Berserker Sabretooth vs Wolverine (Sabretooth War)

The only things that doesnt make sense in this story is that if the muramasa blade permanently takes away his healing, wolverine should have been dead almost right away due to the adamantium poisoning. His healing factor was the only thing stopping the poisoning from the metal. Take away the healing and it goes rampant. Just like how when his adamntium was taken away, his healing factor skyrocketed and he became feral wolverine.

Sabertooth is not going berserker... When they're in berserker rage they can't talk.... Maybe he was going berserker to get out of the trap but not when he's fighting Logan

I thought that Sabertooth and Wolverine were going to have a Batman and Joker relationship when it showed that Sabertooth missed the old Wolverine that he worked with, and he wanted him back, then... then it took a turn when Sabertooth depowered Wolverine with Forge's depowering gun and trying to actually kill him off for good. I don't know where it will go from here, but most likely, Sabertooth will return. And I was thinking that they make their relationship a Batman and Joker relationship where Sabertooth kind of loves Wolverine and is obsessed with him, like when he was talking to the head of Kid Omega about how their team was more than teammates, more than brothers, more than lovers, and things like that, and he hunts down and kills Logan's children and loved ones because he sees them as holding Wolverine back. We will see where this goes.

It wasn’t rushed. It was ten issues of fluff.

The Hellverine #1 has a continuation of Sabertooth War concerning what happened to - spoiler alert - Akhiro aka Daken aka Fang aka Wolverine’s dead son via Sabertooth’s hands.

I have always loved their fights the visuals are awesome. But in reality Wolverine with his claws would just hack off sabertooth's arms immediately and easily win every single time.

I moved my WF performance Tip back onto my Fusion Cetus the Metal Flat tip indeed made it more stable and aggressive, but the draw back was that it's height to weight balance distribution was off, so I put the original tip I used for this bey back on. So why does he call Wolverine Wolver-rain?

Yeah, they may be close in fighting prowess and physical attributes, but the adamantium on Wolverines bones totally tip the scales in Wolverines' favor and Wolverines healing factor is just better than Sabertooths healing factor. That last point is the very reason why Wolverine was chosen over Sabertooth to undergo adamantium bonding, bc it was believed Wolverine may survive but Sabertooth will definitely die lol. Which is why Wolverine is better.

Idea for a new X-man Character! *(Name):* John Riddley *(Mutation Type):* Children of the Vault/Mutant hybrid (mother had a dormant X-Gene) *(Appearance/Ethnicity):* 6ft 2in, Caucasian, Male, Athletic build, Steel Blue eyes (turn sulfur yellow with red sclerae after his powers activate), straight shoulder length black hair with a white stripe. *(Origin):* Salem MA *(Mutant Name)*: Death Metal *(Mutation):* Inanimate/Effigy animation and manipulation. Healing factor. Electromagnetic Disruption. Hypersonic Shriek. Superhuman Strength, Endurance, and Reflexes. Pain and Shock Resilience. Unnaturally Dense Tissue. John/Death Metal can animate anything with no life of its own (with some strain depending on how large or how many). This includes dolls, statutes, mannequins and cadavers (a personal favorite of his). He calls this animation ability his "Crowd". He can (much like Banshee) produce a massive sonic scream, capable of ripping through reinforced steel. His healing factor has enabled him to survive and resurrect from injuries that would otherwise be immediately fatal, as he survived a close proximity shot to the forehead from a Barrett 50 Cal, followed by a massive propane tank explosion. He seems to cause disruptions and malfunctions to nearby machinery. Causing overloads and shorted circuits when his temper flairs up. He possesses immense superhuman strength enabling him to lift approximately 75-100 Tons under duress. His body produces little if any fatigue toxins, allowing him to exert himself continuously for up to 48 hours without showing any sign of exhaustion. Due to his connection to his "Crowd" he can see through and glean information on his surroundings, allowing him to dodge or evade incoming threats with greater speed and efficiency than most normal humans, making him very difficult to capture or attack. His mutation also seems to have shut down his ability to feel physical pain, as he has had most of his head shot off, suffered 3rd degree burns to over half his body, all while remaining conscious and continuing to fight. His tissues are also unnaturally dense. The villain Tombstone once mentions that Death Metal is "Damn near as tough as he his", after punched through a 4th floor apartment into the basement parking garage. *(Personality):* Originally a quiet, caring, albeit rebellious individual. His personality became notably more vengeful, Antisocial and Meticulous after almost being killed by hitmen sent by Tombstone and later witnessing his family incinerated by an Orchis Sentinel blast. *(Origin):* Son of his mother, the owner of a funeral home, and never knowing his real father, as his mother had cheated on her hyper religious husband (with a man latter revealed to be a member of The Children of The Vault who had infiltrated human society), leading to an argumentative & distrustful relationship, he resorted to sneaking out and partying with his girlfriend at Rock Music festivals. At one of which he purchased his first electric guitar, much to his father's anger. Threatening to flee his home after an argument, he started crashing at his girlfriend's house, who unbeknown to him had taken out a loan from the crime boss Tombstone. His girlfriend, unable to pay him back, was murdered by his collectors. Walking in after the fact, they immediately attempted to shoot him dead, and at the moment began to bleed out, triggering his X-Gene into activation. Falling into a rage, and much to their shock, begins ripping the gangsters to pieces. Then trying to get help from the local police, who unfortunately (upon realizing he was obviously mutant) attempted to turn him over to Orchis. Stunning them with his sonic scream, shrugging off their bullets, and animating a nearby statue to cover him, he made his escape. Sadly, Orchis followed and by the time he finished explaining to his parents what had happened multiple Orchis Sentinels and Troops had made their arrival at the funeral home. His mother pleaded for his safety and much to his shock, his father actually demanded for them get off his property and leave his son be. Orchis of course completely disregarded this as a Sentinel scan classified him as a potential Omega Level threat and attempted "immediate termination" via a concentrated blast. Before John could react, his parents attempted to shield him from the blast, incinerating them both. Suffering a breakdown, reanimating multiple cadavers from the funeral home, and charging at the incoming wave of Orchis forces. John Riddley was able to kill nearly all Orchis troops and 4 Sentinels, before another several unleashed a combined blast searing off nearly two thirds of his skin and muscle tissue. Seemingly killing him. Orchis carts off his body (presumably for experimentation), no one noticing his finger twitching, implying signs of life. The transport is later found, crashed in a clearing, and surrounded by mangled Orchis Agents. Far off in a clearing John Riddley, rapidly regenerating from his injuries, abandons his name, instead deciding the moniker Death Metal best suits him now, decides to reclaim his guitar and hunt down Tombstone and remnants of Orchis. Deciding to "Play a gig they'll NEVER forget" and make them suffer for all he'd lost. And walks off towards the city chuckling "Time for a rave to the grave", a few reanimated Orchis agents lumbering behind...

Pleasantly surprised with how Benjamin Percy's Wolverine run ended. I wasn't really that happy with the sabertooth war arc, but he really did an excellent job on the last issue. I have a lot to say about the run overall and had a lot of highs and a lot of lows but it's nice to see he ended strong with this issue. Even the backup stories are pretty sweet. Grading the arcs from memory : Wolverine x Dracula : A- Wolverine x Solem & Sevyr : A- Wolverine x Maverick : B- Wolverine x Deadpool : C+ Wolverine x Beast : D- Wolverien x Sabretooth War : C+ My only complaint is that Marvel really really needs to reevaluate page 1 artwork. A lot of the books I've been opening lately are just really boring page 1's.

Though it was rushed, this ending cooked the hell out of the Fall of the House of X book, so much better than that.

You cited another reason I don't read comics any more, Logan and Creed are actual geniuses. They're not on the level of Peter Parker, Stark, Richards or Banner but they're both very intelligent people. This was made pretty clear back in Wolverine volume 1. Marvel just changes whatever the writer feels like in order to sell pretty drawings. The company has no continuity or integrity.

You know reading warhammer 40k made me realize Companies like marvel Could make stories like warhammer 40k and game of thrones With all the alien races.And empires and civilizations that exist in the universe Is having massive conflicts like an war hammer and Political groups and intrigue Disputes between ruling class In those vast empires like in game of thrones and Still have super powered beings And it could be very successful In comic form and animation ( It basically would be warhammer and game of thrones and the boy's comics all in one)

This was rushed but still might be a good way to lead James Howlett and Victor Creed into the post krakoa era of X-Men storytelling.

Wolverine (Vol 1) #90 still holds the best panel-by-panel fight between Wolverine and Sabretooth. I was hoping this issue would hold a candle, but it was a let-down. Still, the story was enjoyable.

Keep Wolverine coming, gotta say this was a good Sabretooth, raw and brutal. I think there’s something about Wolverine’s redemption arc that is so appealing and interesting because from a power or talent level I don’t think he’s even omega level, this said he doesn’t fear the omega or beyond omega level, quite the opposite he faces them head on. Anyhow he’s an interesting character for sure.

" Wolverine has a massive body count " Yes, based on the number of children he's fathered. Wolverine has been spreading seeds around the world for hundreds of years. I'm pretty sure any number of known mutants could in fact be his possible descendants. I mean wouldn't it be a trip if Jean Grey was descendant of Wolverine? Dude would have been wanting to clap(unknowingly) a descendant of his for(from the readers perspective)decades.

I just want to point out wtf Omega Red is doing there since during the whole Krakoa thing he and Logan were fighting through time to kill/protect Professor X,I don't recall him having any sort of redemption from that.

Been reading wolverine for 35 years and this is the most deflating arcs I've read. I don't want to be harsh on the writers but I do not agree with the inclusion of the exiles for so much of this story. By the end there's 2 full teams fighting for screen time in an event that was built as the bloodiest conflict between two major rivals. I also thinks its the worst choreography of a wolverine vs sabretooth fight I've seen.

Honestly, I was happy when they sidelined Sabertooth. He feels like a one trick pony.

The problem with Marvel finishing they're stores is always about how definitive the end will be. They rush it so they can leave it open. They know they dont have the same readers from the 70s and 80s. People will look it up

Why is Rob so upset? Marvel has been doing this to their stories for decades. I gave up at one point due to the rushed end of World War Hulk. But realized that nothing is going to change. Just like all the teams go back to their status quo, the status quo for Marvel is to right great stories that they rush the endings to.

So Sabretooth had no adamantium this time, did he?

That doesn't look rushed to me. Rob just gets his kicks from lengthy fight sequences. The fact is though that a fight between two of the most skilled and lethal killers in Marvel, who know they've lost their regeneration, would be quick and decisive because if either one holds back then they'll be dead the moment one of them begins to lose focus or feels fatigued.
