I've always had the impression that Sabertooth ALWAYS, even in in redemption arcs, knew what he did was evil and wrong. Wolverine has always struck me as a man trying to deny his evil deeds, or trying to make up for them by being "good." Like Wolverine never really faces what he's done, he kinda just gets away with being evil in his past because people like him. Thing is, he was a brutal evil killer like Sabertooth longer than he's been a good guy soooooo....

You should sign up with your local library. Most of them have a huge library of comics available digitally these days. They are very easy to rent.

The problem with this storyline is that there's no justification for its ending being anything other than Wolverine either killing Sabretooth (and I mean dead; no brain damage due to claws through the chin into the brain), locking him away somewhere he can't be found or escape from, or just physically destroying him so bad that regeneration can't fix it. Unless its Jean or Professor X literally destroying Sabertooth's mind.

I get it now @comicsexplained Sabertooth reason for hating Wolverines! Sabertooth suffers from abandonment! All these years I couldn’t figure out why he hated Wolverine so much and now I know! Wolverine was the only one that was more like a brother who was closely similar to Sabertooth personality and he left him like his dad did, the one person he loved had treated him like an animal. But Sabertooth thought he found someone who understood the nature of who is and Wolverine was with him through thick and thin in the beginning and then he had left him just like his dad did and he could never forgive Wolverine for that after all they been through as a team….no, as brothers!

Sabertooth killed his dad, and Wolverine killed Sabertooth's brother (before Sabertooth could do it himself) leading to them meeting and Sabertooth thinking he killed Logan before meeting him again years later at a bar

This and wolvie is still a mutant, with animalistic qualities like enhanced strength, speed, flexibility and agility! But also eagle eyesight, bloodhounds nose, bats ears, and incredibly strong pheromones which make even a 5'2" hairball stand a chance with the likes of Domino lol

@@theeLonelyRedPanda yeah that would be horrific!... this is really dumb, but I swear I once had a really cool dream where I had wolvies powers, but didn't know it until the claws popped! But it was insane, I could hear people's heartbeats, see for miles, and I ran like 40mph leaped onto a moving truck (amazed at these abilities that came from nowhere, and chasing these kidnappers in a fleeing truck, ridiculous I know lol) and that's when the claws popped and it burned so bad down my forearms and my hands felt like they were on fire, but then it stopped instantly! Healing factor kicked in and I carved the roof of the truck in one slice... this is still THE COOLEST dream I've ever had, and one of the only truly memorable ones lol

I love the idea of this storyline; but the one thing they should've done is kept it meat and potatoes. The headless psychic thing, the multiverse stuff, not having the balls to kill Laura. All of this could've been a good old fashioned banger but all of the excess takes away the appeal.

Forge is also a shaman and has mystic powers. There are a ton of folks that put Tony Stark and the iron man suits in a weird place like Bochs/Box and such. But those are all old stories and I think even marvel has forgotten about them. I was quite excited to see forge in the new x-men series and it follows the comics of the same era, albeit a bit changed up, though that might just be my old memories getting fuzzy.

After his introduction, I never expected Quentin Quire to become a recurring... pseudo villain? He's either the butt of the joke or a big deal, depending on who's writing him, but I'd love a video on him. Where does he stand with you? He's a powerful telepath and an Omega-level mutant, but where does he stand amongst other telepaths? Emma and the cuckoos owned him when he was younger. Would they do the same now, supposing he was not in a jar? I feel while he may not be the most powerful telepath, his powers get used (or rather can be used) in some of the weirdest ways that others' powers wouldn't.

Newbie question, in the flashback panels, Wolverine has only one claw per hand; and in the present panels he has his three claws per hand. What happened to change that? I thought Wolverine always had three claws per hand.

I love the old Clairemon(iirc) X-men w/ Forge & Longshot. ~DC~Wouldn't it be cool if Batman had Aquamans Trident or BlueBeetles Scarab melted down & transitioned into His Batsuit. or Even Superman,Ragman,Orion characters bones into it. I was stoked to see WolderWoman make a Whip like weapon out of Supermans Spinal cord & Skull & lace it w/ the Lasso Of Truth. ~Is the Earth3(Ultraman earth) Superwomans barbed Wire lasso of obedience in Hall of Justice Vault?? Forge would make a great villain or tinkerer. In Vulture(michael Keaton) like fasion where he weaponizes other tech.

Berserker rage is implied to be an aspect of his animalistic powers why would it manifest. And Sabertooth has it as well and more often then not resulted in Sabertooth winning. Wolverine only beats him by reigning in his rage.

I think what drives Sabretooth is two-fold. It first came from Wolverine killing his younger brother, second being his abandonment of Team X / Weapon X.

Eh it's not the first time Logan has lost his powers. I bet after his fight with Sabertooth, he's going to get them back by using his blood, use the suit Superior Spiderman gave him or someone has a big tank of Logan's blood lying around somewhere. This whole storyline makes me wonder what goes on at Marvel when they brainstorm for this character? Like, let's have him lose everyone he loves. Let's have him get his ass kicked. Sabretooth seems to stay in his own rage. Granted it’s more feral than berserker, but he still has his healing factor where now wolverine doesn’t. Not sure how much adamantium physically weighs down wolverine, but a metal poisoned blood rage vs a feral killer with a hard on isn’t an even match.

This story is a microcosm of like every Wolverine trope lol. Sabertooth, Wolverine getting mind controlled and forced to kill people he cares about, losing his healing factor, etc. They can do the funniest thing ever by having Wolverine beat Sabertooth by finding his inner peace and remembering he's actually one of the most proficient martial artists in the world then have some great tragedy befall him that forces him back into his old lifestyle

I feel like you underestimate Forge's ability by sayjng he's basically Tony Stark. His mutant powers put him ahead of Tony when it comes to invention. He can make anytbinghe thinks of. Tony is just highly capable because he's a genius. Forge has access to alien tech as well. He could make abetter Oron Man suit in a fraction of the time it would take Tony. Don't sleep.

Forge can build anything he can imagine, but his imagination has limits that Tony Stark's imagination does not. Pairing them up would be crazy, but they aren't exactly the same thing. More two sides of the same coin imo.

In regards to Forge being compared to Tony Stark. Forge can make a time machine (Messiah Complex), has Stark ever made one? Doom and Reed can, but Stark isn't as smart as them, and I don't know if he ever has. My point is, if Stark can't make time machines, Forge is actually more powerful than Tony Stark due to having more variety in what he can make, and potential in how powerful his creations can be.
