@@royalty_the1892 Yes and no. I havent been back to the gym since COVID but i still train weekly w some of my teammates/neighboring gymmates at my home mats. My roommate and my brother both train as well so i still technically train about 4-5 hours a week

Ari is such an asshole. Who I wouldn’t be surprised if he was truly sketchy as fuck. We have heard a lot of Ari’s stories and he’s predominantly the asshole. Let alone dosing your friend… like wtf? Bert is amazing but Fuck Ari!

There's this Judo black belt who attends a BJJ class I've started going to, and I literally asked him to flip me because I felt like I would only get that opportunity so many times in my life. It was awesome. It was the perfect flip.

That"s right, against multiple attackers you better run because the bad guys sometimes have brain and all the super kicks won"t help you at all. By the way, even the most skilled strikers can fall in the street so grappling is very very useful in self defense.

@sparky303 Jiu-jitsu teaches you how useless EVERYTHING is in that situation, so you're a step ahead of everybody else because at least you have some grasp of reality. The only thing you CAN do in that situation is try to escape and stay clear of being taken down. An understanding of jiu-jitsu is good for that. If you can't escape offer to fight them one at a time. Beat the leader first and maybe the rest won't want any.
