What Keyboard is better for stuio recording and live Gigs the xs or the tyros 3? I can't seem to find the specs on the wave rom for the tyros 3. Is the motif xs a better keyboard as far as sound quality and fetures? I am A proud Xs owner. Its the best keyboard I have ever owned hands down. Roland's can't compare. Thank you Yamaha for your hard work :)
Motif XS even blows Tyros 5 out of the water and even puts Genos to shame! As a general rule you shouldn't buy an arranger keyboard unless you need auto accompaniments and arrangers are not intended for recording whereas Motif is because it's a workstation/synthesizer intended for music production and also a fantastic stage piano. Motif XS does everything execept cheesy auto accompaniments.
He certainly knows which keyboard is better for which person. Tyros 2 is perfect for a one man band who needs auto accompaniments whereas Motif is better for music production/midi sequencing.
