Hi, from France : it's a M16 not 15 (M for modified). The 15 is 3 shots. So in France we call this gun a 07/15-M16. When you fire in combat the Trap must be opened. Best regards.
A very, very beautiful rifle... The long Berthier is so elegant. But french guns in 8mm Lebel always seems to have loading/ejection issues, impressive!
Les chargeurs copies sont mauvais pour l'introduction. Pour l'éjection c'est un réglage de culasse ou alors une usure : ces armes ont été utilisées jusqu'à la fin de la seconde guerre mondiale.
Question: if you leave the hatch opened, does the empty clip come out after shooting the last round or after chambering it? The Steyr M95 worked in the latter way, and I think it was a pretty smart "low on ammo" warning (even though I doubt it was engineered with that purpose in mind)
You don't need to open the hatch manually. If you push a new clip in from the top it pushes the empty clip out the bottom. If the hatch is closed it will push it open.
Got one of these for 15 dollars a few years ago. Missing most screws and the stock was cut into a sport stock, but I got her to fire after replacing the missing parts.
Well, there was some rifle like that that have seen the war, not many comparatively to the 3 clip version but there was some. The upgrade kit to convert a 07-15 wich a 3 bullet clipto a 16 version which has the 5 bullet clip and other improvement start to coming in 1917.
I would say no. It's based on an even older cartridge (8mm Lebel, which was the first cartridge designed for smokeless powder). It is lighter than a Mosin but not quite as accurate or hard-hitting.
hey man! can you do knives? there are many types of knives and a collector like you would implement in your collection there are some websites like Elemental knives that you can buy.
@@churchowl3052 i mean the clip that goes inside the rifle too like garand en bloc, but unlike garand, u need to open the bottom part to take it out, which is kinda waste of time.
@@churchowl3052 but other rifle doesnt even need all that stuff since their clip doesnt come inside the rifle too, thats why i said its overcomplicated.
Jack Beacon it’s not over complicated, the Mannlicher style of magazine is fairly easy to manufacture, no I’m gonna go out on a limb here and guess you haven’t had much experience with firearms history/development.
