I am still hoping and praying that Beryl will weaken to just a tropical rain storm with very little wind and storm surge. I'm really thinking that my praying is working.

Thankyou! Definitely been a week that's been shorter on sleep. But I know we will have some slower times again this Summer before peak Hurricane season. This has honestly been a good practice storm to talk about if you will to get ready.

Good morning, Mitch. We’re seeing an active morning in Northern Maine there is heavy rain with embedded thunderstorms moving in from the west. I can hear thunder.
I live in northern NH and it is very very muggy today, a perfect platform for severe thunderstorms. Hasn't scared away the 4th of July tourists up here.

Where's your hat it's not the weekend LOL. 🤭 I just want to say when I was watching you describe what's weakening the system is the troughing and the dry air as I was looking at tropical Storm Beryl, it looks like the dry air is trying to pull Beryl's pants off lol. As you can see it shearing away the bottom half of that system. I know people will laugh at this comment and that's okay laugh away, it's meant to be light hearted. Not disrespectful of anyone who is still in the path of this storm. Prayers for TX especially areas like Corpus Christi Galveston, Houston they're so low lying and Houston being built in a swamp, none of these areas can handle any kind of storm or tropical storm. @@MitchWestWeather i was thinking it be faster with the blow up, its surprisingly slow. tho we had storms go from cat 1 to cat 5 in under a day before.
