Thank you for deciding not to go down a political path... the Marrow channels I watch and others like yours are good for my soul and blood pressure.. These channels are an escape from the daily news with all the horrible things going on. I know that the power company has scheduled that I will lose power for just 4 hours this week for normal repair. I am not looking forward to that happening. I am scheduling a morning out with my sister so we can be in air conditioning. I don't normally have air conditioning; but I don't want to lose electricity and miss watching the Morrow Hill You Tube/Facebook channels. I will watch those the next day. I love how you make sure your family members have a good meal. Kim, you are a great example of showing Christ's love.❤❤🥰

Kim you planted a seed in my brain the other day when you mentioned the orange sherbet push up pops. I was at Walmart yesterday and saw them and had to buy them lol. They were the Walmart brand and you were right they are refreshing. ❤

But, it's so awesome seeing your family come together....to help and support one another. That's what family is for. Not everyone has that support with their families...especially because, not all families live so close in proximity to one another. You are blessed. Kim, my uncle works for a big Australian electricity company. What your mum said is right. Australia says two days ahead. 🙏 praying the workers can fix the power grids. A lot of business bring law suits against them,when they're wrong. Look into salalite internet i think i told you about that before. My paw has a dish on his house. His got a cattle farm in outback Australia and the normal internet is non existent. Satellite never drops out paw said.

The 10x10 is great! That is what I use with my gen. I use the legs extended full height when it is sunny, just to provide shade for the generator. But when it rains I lower the legs so it protects the generator from the rain better.

It's always great to have a canopy on hand. Make shade when you are working outside. Cutting wood, tinkering on a machine, etc. Sit under it next to the pool. I glad to hear you all got your power back. Sending my love to you and Levi ❤.

Good Monday morning Kim and Levi. It came on during Buddy and Stephs live last night. And then the other good thing is the professional tarp co came and installed the tarp. Two blessings in one day. Poor Buddy and the hard work he put in on trying to do it himself andvthen it was all removed. They did fold it up third goid thing 😊. Wanted to ask tou Kim cuz I was going to ask Paw Paw this morning and forgot. Does anyone on the Hill have rain barrels to collect during rains and storms? I can so feel ya Kim! We were without power last June 2023 after a horrible storm in Shreveport. It was rough and the house was 85 at night even with fans/battery blowing on you . That’s when we decided house generator . It was expensive but just too old to live like that. My husband is 76 with diabetes and liver cancer. My heart has reached out to all of you this last week and I love watching you power through with your family. So proud you got power back. Was watching buddy and Steph when theirs came back on. We acted the same last year when ours was restored. Almost afraid to believe it! I love watching you Kim ! You are a real survivor and I would want you in my corner any day.
I married a man from Houston. Thought I would die that first summer without AC. My hubby said HISD didn’t have air conditioning in classrooms. That was in the 50’s &60’s. His grandmother said back in her day she would get up at 4 am to do the cooking for the day. Then by mid day she took all the children outside to play on a quilt under the big shade tree where they would nap.
Not having power is bad enough but the fact that you have to exist in the extreme heat conditions makes it so so so much worse. It definitely starts to beat down your emotional state. I’m so glad you all finally have your power back on!! ❤

I watched my neighbors tree come down, and it pulled all my lines out of our weather head. We had to completely upgrade everything to modern code before they would hook us back up.❤

When I make biscuits, I put aluminum foil across the bottom rack and raise the other rack up one that I put the biscuit pan on. The foil across the bottom rack helps keep the bottom of the biscuits from getting too dark or burnt. They come out perfect every time.
you and levi hang in there being without power is a pain in the tush yet its a moment to appreciate what i do have. i just miss it when its gone, i have an emergency kit with small charge devices a box multi charge station and try and make sure my stuff is charged. bless the workers trying to get everything reconnected.

Kim, another to my uncle said power company only say a quarter of the areas out of power. Because of share holders, the vultures a scrambling to save every cent. God forbid if profits drop 1%. He worked for 24 years with AGL Australia's biggest electricity & gas company. He got paid out to leave cause he said the truth basically.
Good morning Kim, there’s always one in the family that is expected to do the most, and I was the one just like you. Now that I am a great grandmother, and all by myself the days run together because no one calls and no one ever comes
You are not alone. This is the situation with my mom. She's a grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother. Everyone goes about their days doing their things. Going on vacations, out to eat and doing all kinds of fun things. Do they include her? No. They drive past her home on their numerous trips to Disney World and don't take a five minute trip off the highway to come by and say "Hello" to her or see if she needs anything. The grandchildren that she did so much for who have children of their own don't make time for her either. If they happen to come to Florida for a trip, they want to see what she has that they can take home with them. It breaks my heart to hear her cry. She loves them so much and did so much for them and they just completely ignore her existence. I have already told her that when she passes on I am not going to tell them. If any of them show up at her funeral and have the audacity to cry, they better be ready for me. I will not mince my words. I thank God I am here and able to take care of the things she needs and wants.
Kim LOVES and ADORES her Family its clear that she has a Caring Nature. PawPaw is so proud of her and Gigi absolutely has so much fun with Kim; they do so much together. I'm thinking Kim is just being Kim and doing what she can for her Beloved Family members. They all appreciate Kim thats why Dan, Jake, Buddy, Steph all those able show up in her times of need. Its just the Way of the Morrow Family. They are a living example of how family should be - each has roles and they do their best fro one another. I wouldn't say expected but showing Love and Care.
