As I listen to you describe how Levi was when he was younger, our daughter had the same symptoms growing up. I was told severals times by doctors that she will grow out of it. It was not until she was 23 years old when she was diagnosed with Autism. For the last 10 years of her life she had one illness after another. This past November 1, 2023 our daughter passed away from a blood clot that we had no idea that she had. I miss her so much. Thank you for sharing this today. It was needed. God bless you richly.

I love it when the family interact with Levy (Paw Paw calling him a NERD or Bri tickling him etc. etc.) Everyone treats him just like they treat each other, never making Levi feel different from any of them. Now that is what love is all about, God bless the Morrow families. ❤️ God knew just what he was doing when he gave you Levi as a son and you to Levi as a mom.❤️

Hi Kim A little about me... for the past 35 years, I ve been working with adults like Levi and adults that we do feed and change. I think you re selling yourself short. Most of the adults I work with, are in foster homes... just a few are with there families. It is a full-time job for whoever is taking care of them, but foster families chose to do it... I really respect the natural families that are still at it after all these years. You have a wonderful support system in the family. It s beautiful to see. 🇨🇦

I’m so glad you made this video about Levi and autism! My grandson isn’t diagnosed yet but he is five and his mother said they have to wait until he is 6. We live in Oklahoma . He says some words, when he eats he moans, and he has an eight pack abs and he’s 5! He has the zoomies but if he wants to watch a video he will be still. He belongs to my youngest son and he is learning about autism but actually he treats him the same way as his other children. It’s funny to have him around me because he will see a scratch on my arm for example and he slightly touches it and kisses my arm! I do love Wyatt. He plays well with the other kids too. I make him say what he wants and sometimes he doesn’t get it but most of the time cause I’m a pushover he’ll get it! 🥰 We have only been around him for about a year now due to the mom but he is a joy to watch. He also sneaks into my bedroom at night and crawls in! Scared me the first time cause I thought it was a rat at the end of my bed! Sheesh! You have a great day and I know a lot of people will understand autism better now. Hang on Ms Kim!

I have an autistic daughter 24yrs old. She is special but it’s a very hard life to take care of her. I always wanted someone to come to our rescue to help us deal with her many situations but no one came. Even though we have family, it’s like they are not comfortable because they too don’t know how to handle situations. So my husband and I have been on our own trying to navigate her life. She had help when she was younger but as an adult, there is no one. I just want people to know that having an autistic son or daughter may be great for their uniqueness but it’s also very hard and isolating in some ways. EVERTHING we do is based on our daughter’s needs. Kim, you being a single mother I’m sure makes it twice as hard and I admire you. Admiration, however, does not help with our daily lives.

Thank you for sharing Levi's story with us. I believe that we need to have more adults with autism in social media. A lot of people don't understand what this behaviour means. And of course, parents of small children with autism are so terrified about the future for their child. So it is great for people to be familiar with an adult with autism and have this opportunity to grow to love Levi.

My friend had a boy with schizophrenia,he was 6'4' & 300#. He would get up in the morning and say"Good morning Mom...this might be the day I kill you". They would not keep him hospitalized for more than 30 days. So much more to this story. God sent you a "special child" for a reason & knew exactly what He was doing. You are doing a wonderful job Kim. Tell Levi I watched MIB the other day & thought of him . I really enjoyed it haha!!

Bless you for having an enormous heart and sharing your story. I have several friends with autistic children and they all are amazed how well their child gets along with me. One comes to my house and picks the flowers out of my gardens for his grandmother and they use to get upset, they was afraid I get upset, I always laugh and say god will let them grow back. And it made them happy so it made my heart happy to share my flower gardens. Another likes to swim in my pool and with 3 adults watching 1 child it always made it easier on her. They are really blessing from god because they are usually happy and carefree. I always try to make them feel at home. God bless you Kim and keep up the good work

Hi Kim & Levi ❤ you are a strong mom who didn't let society put Levi in a box. He's so smart but in his own way, and that's so cool. Levi is the 1st autistic person that I've got to know because of your willingness to put your life out there and I appreciate that so much. Thank you for sharing. Having an autistic child isn’t easy especially when then become an adult in age and size but not in their thinking. Routines can be very important for autistic people so as you get him moving , be consistent with him. When you tell him that he needs to do something or it will be taken away is teaching him consequences/ choices. I love when Dan interacts with him and the “fat boy” teasing.

Thank You for sharing. So many thoughts. I studied Recreational Therapy in college. I had the sweetest little guy named Jeffery who had challenges. This was 1976. Autism wasn’t the term yet. Jeffery started out very shy but weeks later I had him doing many activities. His bus would arrive and he would run to me. I know I made a connection with him. It was the best part of my college years. Also my cousin started her own diversity school for all ages. It is a fabulous school. Radcliffe Creek School here in MD. I can only imagine what if Levi could have attended the school. Thank You for spreading the awareness.

Levi is a credit to you and your patient determination to keep him with you. (Don’t roll your eyes!) Sister Kim, thank You for bringing attention to Autism Awareness Month. I too, have a Beautiful, Loving, Ol Soul Grandson with a type of Autism. As You know there are many types and levels of Autism. My Grandson is a high functioning autistic adult. He just turned 25. He has several other syndromes along with the Autism. Most people would not even pick up on his symptoms, unless they know him & the family. We are blessed and thankful to have our guy with Us. We are all God fearing Christians and believe God has a plan for everyone. My Grandson’s world is all black & white, right or wrong, no gray areas or maybes. He is a Beautiful Soul, know so much on so any things, but we still have to remember he needs our protective circle we have around him. He has his idiosyncratic too. So I understand your daily life, I pray for your strength and understanding of each day bringing concerns, smiles, laughter & blessings, b/c it takes a strong, loving person to have a New Day, everyday, what will we be dealing with today. But We, as well as You & Your family Members also know, We have “ The Mama Bear Syndrome” when it comes to our Babes. ( my Grandson was diagnosed with an extra Y chromosomes, no 2 people with this have the sameness. They are all unique individuals who are in a constant medical situation study. B/C of this type of condition there are no guidelines, study charts, there is One Day at a Time, enjoy, deal count your blessings and ask Our Beloved God for guidance. Have a Blessed Day 💞🙏🏻

Kim you have done incredibly well with Levi, he is a credit to you 🥰. My friend lost her heroic battle to keep her autistic son with her because he was big and strong and threw punches and furniture when he lost it. Whilst she was pegging out washing one day he threw the tv through the big lounge window cutting them both badly so she was forced to put him into a residential home. The home is in the countryside with livestock, 24/7 carers, his health is closely monitored and he is thriving there but she misses him dreadfully.

Kim I wish you had resources available to assist you. Here in Florida a professional golfer named Ernie Els started a foundation to help people with Autism to learn to live with their abilities. I like the way they say that instead of disabilities. They do amazing things like help them learn the skills to get a job. They were saying just like any one of us we all need to feel useful. Your a terrific loving mother. I admire all you do. Im very impressed that you see that Levi needs physical activity for his health. The tread mill is a fantastic idea. Especially the weather is warming up it will be nice that Levi will be able to walk inside in the AC. We all benefit from being mobile. It cleanses the mind. God Bless you for sharing Levis story. Im sure there are those that see your heartfelt video and will be more patient with their special needs child. Thank you for making a difference by sharing your life through videos.
