Old school Cora was in the house! Rock it in your socket and eyelash torture device! Plus dang girl... your skin is looking amazing and (as I think I say in every one of your tutorials) you actually zoom so we can really see what you look like! And this makeup look is giving me Edward Scissorhands housewife vibes.
I love how much attention to detail their collections are. The colours are not something I'd personally use but I love how true to the original cartoon it is. You're looking gorgeous as always
omg. I'm totally geeking out over this palette! When i was little i wanted to be a Disney animator and looooved the little segments at the ends of some disney movies that talked about how the animation was done.
I love your makeup videos so much! The editing in this was great. I so appreciate how well you always explain all the steps and why/how you’re doing them! Also, the intro was so interesting! I never knew all the details about 101 Dalmatians. Thanx for sharing
@@vintageortacky love the look you created. The palette seems pretty but a bit gimmicky/cheap like you mentioned....I feel they could have done the packaging different. Maybe with an insert with all that cool info?
Thank you for switching to the white lights at the end! It was great to see how set lights affect the look, and just how soft and pretty the eyes are in "regular" light.
I absolutely love the way you do makeup your style and techniques are so different from everything else on RU-vid, honestly I love your makeup thank you for sharing ♥️
Your so talented at tutorial's! Beautiful palette! On a no-buy for eye shadow palettes, powder blush and powder highlight (started Oct 1) for 6 months, so I will live through beautiful videos like these and enjoy..
Sleeping Beauty is my favorite and this palette is sooo pretty. I love these collections Beseme has been doing. The colors are so unique. I need it. The look you created is beautiful btw.
So gorgeous! I just learned a new way to put on my blush. You always teach me something new and I absolutely love that about you and what you put into your channel. Thank you so much!! I hope you had a wonderful Birthday night out.💜💜💜
And here I am , watching RU-vid when I should be sleeping.... but I saw you had the Sleeping Beauty Palette, naturally I had to see it . It’s my second favorite Disney movie. Of course I have so many, but the original Disney movies are awesome. I remember my mom taking my sister and I to see Sleeping Beauty when it first came into the theater. Those shades are sooo retro, but they are timelessly beautiful.
Like it's bluish/greenish eyeshadow and bright reddish lips which ordinarily ppl would say looks really tacky but she makes it look SO RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING ... she must be a witch or something...
Hey cora Diane! It was great to see you doing a tutorial been a hot minute for me! And thank you for using mostly cruelty free products in this post! Most appreciated!💖 i loved the look you did! The mascara? Perfect! And now i want this palette!! Sleeping beauty was my fav Disney movie! And it wasn't for Aurora actually(which was my grandma's name!) but for the fairies! I loved the chubby little blue one so so fiesty! I guess not a princess but a fairy girl! Anyway take care sending love and friendship from Canada!
CrAp..that looks good! Looks literally perfect on you and is totally you as you said! My eye goes to the more pinky shades, but now I'm wondering if I should try some other colors! I don't branch out as much as I used to, usually the most colorful for me would be like burnt oranges and bronze, gold etc. Love burgandys and such as well, probably because they scream fall to me and I love fall 😁
Definitely give muted colors a shot. I always used to think “brighter is better” but using them is a soft manner makes them more forgiving and easier to pull off in a real world way.
@@vintageortacky yes, I think this is perfect, I would try it, but like just bright lime green or something I feel is for the younger crowd, I just personally wouldn't feel comfortable. Just my opinion
Vintage or Tacky is back! Yay! I am so glad you actually used this palette, I've been dying to see how it looks on a person! I really love this one but didn't pick it up due to cost/no buy this year.
Great video. I love the look you created and I love Besame as well. Not everyone likes Gabriela's eyeshadows but I think that they offer unique vintage color shades that give a more sheer look and I learned a lot from watching you layer them. I will pick one color because I like a monochromatic look but I really really like that you put a lot of different greens and your look is really beautiful and has dimension and I could see myself wearing this. Thank you.
This is one of my favourite tutorials about this palette! You're eyes are gorgeous! I really love the sea foam green colour. I tried the colours out this weekend and I'm really impressed with the texture and pigmentation - it's pretty without being overwhelming .I wasn't expecting too much but I'm really blown away and I think I will be using this palette often:)
I adore all of your content. I’m so happy you’re still doing RU-vid. I remember watching you when I was still in school back in the early YT days and although we live on opposite sides of the world, I feel like you’re a friend :)
weenerZ93 wow! I’m from the USA...I believe you guys are almost a full 24 hours ahead of us in time...I’ll have to look it up. I find that fascinating! I have always wanted to go to Australia! We just started into the Fall/Autumn season where I live...how about you?
montibella i think were about 16 hours ahead! We’ve just started spring. I live in Melbourne so it doesn’t heat up until a bit later in the year. I’ve always wanted to be in America for Halloween and Thanksgiving 😍😍😍
weenerZ93 it is magical in the fall with all the changing leaf colors and all the Halloween decor up. The only thing g I don’t like, is that our Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons are so close together. They go by way too fast but it’s still a lot of fun. Traditionally how Christmas season starts on Thanksgiving. A lot of people I know put their trees up on Thanksgiving night or the next day
I’m SO GLAD you weren’t using an eyeshadow palette from 1959!!!! You always do a great job. You look like you lost weight. Your face is thinner. Thanks for the lovely video!
The color scheme is so wearable. I'm 28 and in grad school, so most of the loud, punchy colored palettes don't appeal to me because they wouldn't fit with my style. I just wish the packaging for this palette wasn't so bulky. I do respect the presentation - I just know it wouldn't be a fit for me. Your look was gorgeous!
husband said it like bay so may I always called it bess uh may. Any way you say it. Its good stuff. I have gotten good with eye shadow watching you over the years. But eye liner is always a fail for me. I want winged liner so bad but it just wont work on my eyes. So I love when you do vintage looks without the wing. I try all thoughs looks.
I'm so glad you reviewed this palette. I was really excited when I saw xsparkage mention it in one of her GBB episodes. Beautiful look and your video was great. I loved the intro by the way.
Thank you very much Cora! Really I've learning very much with your tips and tricks. This type of tutorials, remember me your old YT videos. In spanish the final E is pronounced as an "E" and not as an "I", as you do the English-speakers. ;D
Just found your channel and I'm loving it! I'm awful with makeup and love how much detail you go into. Can you link or just mention all (or most LOL) of the product you are using for people like me that have no idea what some of these things are 😅 you are beautiful!!! Its nice to find someone that has similar face shape and skin tone. So not as much guessing 💗💗💗💗
Hey Cora! I don't know if you have Amazon prime video but if you have seen Good Omens, I would LOVE for you to do a tutorial on a snake eye shadow look so that when someone closes their eyes they look like Crowley's snake eyes from the show. It would be perfect for Halloween! Doing contact lenses is a little nerve-wracking for me since there are so many horror stories especially if you're not used to them.
So Beautiful!!!! Really Everything; You, the palette, the video itself, the makeup look, your editing WOW!!! Just stunning!!! The only "sad" (can't think of the right word...maybe disturbing) part is when you said your mom was born in 1959 (may she rest in peace) I'm only 6 years younger than your mom...ouch!!! Apparently, I like to pretend I'm in my 30s ❤ Anyhoo, Thank You So Much Cora for making this fantastic video!!'!
So glad you enjoyed it, I had a blast making it and putting an extra effort into editing. As for talking about my Mom, that part isn’t sad for me, it’s comforting and normalizing be able to just talk about her. Anyone reading this- please let people talk about their departed loved ones without making it a big deal. For a lot of us we fear that we’re bumming people out when really why shouldn’t we talk about them? If it’s not sad for us, don’t let it be sad.
@@vintageortacky Oh shoot...I didn't mean you talking about your mom was ssd... it was the fact that she was born in 1959 which makes Me only 6 years younger. I lost my mom (my best friend) in 2011 and I couldn't agree more about needing and wanting to talk about her. People do get kind of weird/uncomfortable about it...and I Always tell them that its important to me/for me to continue to talk about her Forever!!! Side Note: My moms very first lipstick, 1956/57ish was Revlon's Cherries in the Snow 😘
For me, it’s because my hair frames my face, so knowing where it’s laying helps me decide where to place light and shadow when doing my makeup. My skills improved when I stopped looking at hair and makeup as separate things.
