2:30 it was not the beginning of the Catherine of Aragon’s downfall, that began in late 1525/early 1526 when Henry set his eye on Anne Boleyn after it became clear that Catherine wasn’t going to give Henry a son. Henry’s mind was extremely impressionable, and even in 1528 when he was in the thick of trying to get an annulment, he said that if he had to choose again, and the marriage was good, he would’ve chosen Catherine again.
*King Henry VIII Tudor was really stupid...he should have married Elizabeth Blount as a second wife since she had already given him a son and left Mary Boleyn and especially Anne Boleyn alone!!! 🙄😒🤦♀🤦♂🤦*
*Yeah I personally love Alison Weir's book...the only thing I didn't like about Anne Boleyn's novel is that she and her brother are portrayed by the writer as the poisoners and murderers of Catherine of Aragon when Henry VIII's first wife actually died of heart cancer for natural issues ☹*
