I'm a little late, but defense really has always been my favorite part of just about any sport. Good def just feels like the intensity is always cruising at 140 mph. When you see these great defenders hounding some of the best offensive players in the world, it just feels like the defender wants it more. They have that grit. I love it.
It’s crazy because I played against dort in his year at Arizona state.. he was a scorer(primarily a slasher). He’s now come into the league and has been a “3 & D” type player.. very special to watch
I’d love to see that as well but guards almost never win the award. Marcus Smart was the first guard since Gary Payton lol. My guess is it goes to Bridges or Rudy again
Gospel means good news! The bad news is we have all sinned and deserve the wrath to come. But Jesus the Messiah died for our sins, was buried, and then raised on the third day, according to the scriptures. He ascended into heaven and right now is seated at the Father's right hand. Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."
@@wilsontv2806 first off it’s you’re, and second name the best perimeter defenders beside Jordan and pippen without google lil kid. You wasn’t even born when these so called “amazing” defenders was playing lmao
Glad they put in the one single stop Gobert got in the playoffs in this video, dude got torched.. but also love that these are all 1v1 lockdowns, not just help side blocks like most videos
Marcus Smart is a good defender, but man, every time he dives for the ball, it seems reckless enough that I always cringe if the other player gonna get hurt. I think it's because he's always diving at their legs/ankles, which is dangerous. Not sure how you could put a rule that would allow a defender to "hussle" for the ball but mitigate risks of injury.
I’m completely agree, he dives way too aggressively straight into peoples legs. And I like Marcus Smart as a player, but it’s very dangerous. There are ways to dive for the ball with more awareness.
Imo there's no better feeling in basketball than shutting your opponent down. Especially when you figure out their basic ass bag and it's over from there🤣
