35 years old Wilt Chamberlain is blocking 24 years old Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's sky hook twice in the same position. It is the most memorable defensive play to me.
The video is titled "great defensive plays in nba history" not the "greatest defensive plays in nba history". This is just a video of some great defensive plays they wanted to put in the video not every great play.
Whoever’s reading this, i pray that whatever you’re going through gets better and whatever you’re struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen
I hadn't seen that block by Nate Robinson on Yao Ming from the front before, although I've seen the one where he blocks him from behind a number of times, despite it being arguably less impressive.
This video goes out to all the people who forget that Defense is truly 50% of the game. Great defense is often just as fun to watch and just as important as great offense 🏀
Greatest defensive plays but somehow doesn’t include LeBron’s Game 7 block, Giannis’ coverage and block of DBook and Ayton in 2021 finals, Holiday stripping the ball off DBook in the same finals and Ginobili clutch block on Harden?? Someone needs to get fired
It does not say "greatest" defensive plays. The title say "great'' defensive plays in NBA history which means not all memorable plays will be in this video, just a few
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uJGCySdvlPo.html 8:28 of the linked video. Block on Bob Love. Wilt committing to a Chet Walker layup attempt, who then dished off to Love. One of the greatest defensive plays I’ve ever seen.
Blake Griffin is probably the biggest underachiever ever when it comes to defense. Especially if you take into consideration his ridiculous athleticism .....
So Olajuwon blocking Stark's 3p buzzer beater in the Finals to save the season or Olajuwon blocking Jordan's 3p buzzer beater to win the game just never happened?
If someone 7 feet can jump 45” and then throw the ball downwards into the hoop, it would be unblockable because it would be on the way down the whole time.
Title is great, not greatest and appreciate finding some clips beyond the typical Bron on Iggy or Steal by Bird, but this is really missing Big Ben's block on Shaq =)
No game 7 NBA Finals? No Mutumbo clips? No Kawhi one finger block? No 10 steals by Draymond? I'm only saying this cause it says ALL-TIME. So this should be a WAY longer video.
sorry but nba, thats just embarrassing. where is the block of lebron in the 2016 finals? that was history. he didnt just make a block in a game 7 in the final minutes in a NBA finals, he also managed to be the first to ever come back form a 3-1 deficit. ALL WITH THIS ONE BLOCK!
