I had the same reaction to this song when I first listened to it, "This was the best 13 minutes of my life"! Great reaction! Awesome interpretation as well!
@@johnnyb6067 I'm seeing them February 12th, it'll be my first time seeing them live. I know I'm in for a ride. I hope this song will be in their set, they keep changing things up.
@@jonfernandez4271you're in for a surprise... I've watched them, for the first time, in 2019... It was life changing. I'm watching them twice this February (7th & 9th) 🤘🏿
Great analysis. Keep up the tool videos and tool fans will watch. To me, this song is a call to arms. Not a call to violence or war. I believe this is about your own inner awakening. I love this song.
That, and end times, fascism and climate breakdown, a call for people to hold those in power accountable, before it's too late and their greed destroys everything.
" a trance like state" - thats a perfect way to describe it. Almost hypnotic. This album is a few years old now and lemme tell you i still spontaneously tear up during a few songs, this one included. No idea why, it just hits me. And seeing you listening reminds me of when I first heard it. Music, man...
not too much to say to Tool, right....simply one of the best bands in history of Prog Rock....... cool reaction ...... if not already done, check out PNEUMA live cam video by VIC FIRTH .... just to see how good Danny actually is.....
Why is this so wonderful to watch? I must’ve listen to this song hundreds of times, but to see someone else feel the way I do is pure joy. At 12:10 I really start to lose it, just so good.
Tool is one of the few life changing bands. I’ve been a lifelong fan since 94 and view them much more as an experience than as a “band.” Seen them live 22x and their live show has only gotten better. True masters of their craft.
yup. It's the mature perspective of a Maynard who used to rage and pray for tidal waves. Now... the circumstances are even more dire, but he sees hope. Sound the dread alarm; stay our dire reveille, and... rise.
I'm 60- OGT back from 92. I think I was like a lot of fans, at first F.I. was good but the more I listen it has for me turned into a masterpiece as all their music is. No one better ever. Have tickets to see them in Biloxi, can't wait. Any one seen them on this tour? Let me know how it was please.
First visit to your channel. I absolutely loved your analysis after the song. I found myself emphatically nodding along with your commentary. I feel like you just validated everything I already felt about this song and the band broadly. Can’t wait to watch more of your videos. 😊
Angry tool corps...love it. Y'all are the Marines of the tool Army. Lol The ones that go super, super spiritual. Space force. Recognize the spiritual aspects but not like it's a religion...air force Surface level fans. Reg army Deep dive every lyric...navy Only have one or two songs they like....national guard😂
