My R-N303 (100W p/c) sounds brutally quieter than my old RX-397 which has the half of the power (50W p/c). Is it normal? anyone with similar scenario? the average volume for Optical, Phono or Tuner on the RX-397 goes between 20 to 25, and on the R-N303 goes between 50 to 65. Same setup for both receivers hooked up with a pair of Polk s15 Bookshelf, 100W, 8 ohm speakers. Maximum Volume is set at "Max" in the Setup and the Trim function is on +10 (which is the max) on the Optical and Tuner inputs. +8 for Bluetooth/Airplay and +6 for the Phono input. Even all turned up in the Trim section; I have to go at half or past-half of the knob capacity, while on the RX-397 with less than a quarter is enough. Any suggestion is welcome, maybe I´m not seeing or doing something 🙌
Hi, i bought Qacustic 3050i speakers and now i am looking for stereo amplifier for them. I need an "streaming amplifier", since 99% of time, source of my music is Tidal/Deezer. My budged for amplifier is 500-1000€ and in that range, i am looking at Denons DRA800H and PMA-900HNE. Which one yould you suggest?
