@Danny_1187 that's not as easy as just saying something. Usually you have to work them for half then later in the dealer for the other half. But definitely worth watching videos on live negotiations at car dealers. Too much to try and explain in a comment

Correct. I lived there most of my life. You can often negotiate even lower than employee pricing

I buy alot of new trucks. Like alot of them. I have found that the most valuable tool I have is negotiation skills. took alot of time and trial and error to develop them. But fortunately today youtube has many great videos on learning those skills. with those skills getting these deals and sometimes ever better is very doable. But no dealer is just gonna give in and let you take it without working hard for it.

@@Jason-Samko yep its a back and forth, they will give and they will take, I try to do my research before knowing the MSRP of the year, make, model, and options. What is a good price as in, is it close to the most off the MSRP I have seen within the last 3 months. I also have my credit union with my interest before I go so I have a number they can match or beat or I will finance with my credit union which we know means they miss out on some money, I also look up all the rebaits because sometimes the dealer does NOT offer the rebait but keeps the money, I added the GM loyalty rebait since the dealer didn't mentain it so my guess was he was going to do the paperwork and keep that rebait money, I also have a 3rd party for my trade as dealers usually don't pay 3rd party prices because they want to make profit on my trade, so I will tell them what Carvana or Ecopark offered me which is usually about $6K more than the dealer will, so I will sell my trade to the 3rd party after and refianacne with my credit union after for lower interest and with the top dollar amount of trade, and yes I know if I trade then buy at the same place I get the sales tax taken off from the sales tax of the trade and you don't get that when trading at a different place than you buy a vehicle but I do the math on both trading. Yeah CarEdge has a ton of great negoiation vids I watched.

Duramax zr2 would be used. I don't buy used. To hard to negotiate uses ad dealer and vehicle comparisons are not apples to apples.

Cargurus if you're searching new. Nationwide search, select your trim, and then sort it priced lowest to highest. You can find some SUPER good deals. If you're searching used, definitely AutoTempest.

All bogus advertised prices from my experience if you actually talk to a dealer.

I use all of them. They are to collect the best deals found and availability via some screen shots . Then I grab my pad of paper and start calling and negotiating
