Great vid B! My pond is full of thousands of baby bluegill rn. It’s so hard to get a bite bc they are munching baby gills like crazy! Caught 2 total last 2 days!🤬😂 Deps baby gill lipless is all I can get bit on. Do you have any balsa crank baits? I know they aren’t in style anymore but man do they still slam!!

Question B, did you ever take one of your crankbaits. And look at it from a point of view. Of the swimbait and the crankbait as one thing. I think that Aaren Martens was engaged in area of exploration. Where one can purchased attachments with bills, lips or vanes. That would allow the angler to fit swimbait plastic on to a weighted plastic and lead attachment. Absolutely I understand that anglers make enormous effort. To obtain the crankbait lure that will swim absolutely correct. That would not be possible with a swimbait and an attachment. The obvious thing I guess, that was invented. That took on the idea of the swimbait combined with an attached bill or vane to provide action. Was the inventioned of the bladed jig. And I know that at some stage thely did try a bladed jig lure. That has a plastic vane at the front of it. Clearly it is something that has been done. I wonder though, has that avenue been fully explored or not?
I know there is something that was created now. It's a smaller version of those orginally bladed jig lures. And I wonder to myself. Clearly it is possible to customize the blade jig lure to whatever profile, color or shape you want. I wonder though, taking that smaller bladed jig lure. With the swimbait. Whether or not there is a type of lure there. That has some properties of a crankbait? The point is, is you take a medium sized swimbait, and you combine with a smaller blade jig attachment system. And you have something that is interesting. I'm just not sure what it is the bass are keyed into. With those crankbaits. Is it the action or is it the visual side. That I don't know.
