I bought a new Seamaster 120 in Switzerland in 1971 for $63. I wore it daily for 40 years.

They are typically luxury items and a matter of preference, passion, and obsession for those of us who are so inclined. By the way, that Constellation is gorgeous.

Horology Biology, That’s a good point. I’m a minimalist on jewelry (just American spelling, not a correction) as well. I have a 60s Seamaster for my daily watch, so I really appreciate your Constellation: understated, classy, and exquisite. The patina is fabulous. And those lugs, nice and beefy. I could go on about it, but I’ll stop there, because this is YT. 😆

Thanks. Very helpful. I am looking for a vintage Omega for my birth year watch. 60 next year so 1963 for me. I am leaning towards a constellation. Small note: I couldn't find a single Speedmaster Mk II for less than USD$2000.
