Great video, but as with most build videos, I would strongly recommend showing off gameplay vs a boss (rather than just a test dummy) to give your audience a more accurate gauge on the dps of this build.
How are you getting 100% accuracy on the shotgun? I have a tier 5 corrosion with the same accessories but it has only been calibrated to 5, and my accuracy is 60
I think the video was pre-nerf/second scenario. All weapons got changed and this is probably the reason we cant get 100% acc anymore but are stuck at 66.
Thank you so much for the caveats in the dps showcase. Much BETTER clarity than 99% of the other dps showcases on RU-vid. Seeing all those has made me become jaded but your vid is like a breath of fresh air. This should be the golden standard
I've seen your math video about power surge, and I see an error: the crit damage bonuses from Mod attributes should be replaced with element damage, since that gives a bigger relative increase because: your crit damage is already very high with the gun and lonewolf set stacking buffs. When your crit multiplier is twice as high as your shock damage multiplier, a 5% boost to shock damage is better than a 10% boost to crit damage
@@mawn7976 I made a spreadsheet to do the math, and you're correct. I did discover that way that 3 Lone wolf set pieces + 2 savior set pieces is optimal, since savior increases both status and weapon damage. Better even then 4 lone wolf+bastille (assuming you're not in super close range)
On another note, unless you are already at 100% crit rate, crit boost > crit amplifier. Because your crit damage is over +300%, while your crit rate is less than 100%. The math works out, thanks to spreadsheet
Nice! I love corrosion, and your build is really close to mine. I call it Critical shock :D it needs to ramp up but the dps goes wild. Rng has been hating me on substats :/
Hey would the cradle "get more dmg when you hit a weakspot" and the resonance mod "deal 1 instance of weakspot dmg to get more dmg" would still work even you have fateful strike??
Actually a good vids, i just tested this weapon as a flat+4 loot without build and i was curious about the potential because it s a kinda fun weapon to play even if shotguns has some difficulties in some pve content. But as some others ppl says y should do a nuke boss showcase to give a real power impression as a bonus content. Thx !
Nothing has really changed for one cradle, which could be the reason that it’s heavily impacting your build, since transient impact isn’t active anymore everytime you trigger power surge, it’s everytime you kill an enemy that you receive a power surge buff
You can get a lot more dps with the Long Axe. You can equip it, click heavy attack, quickly switch into the bow to animation cancel buff with fortress warfare, and proccing Steady Hand cradle. Stacking the axe buff also gives +50% crit rate for 10s. I didn't see your mod on the crossbow, but Vulnerability Amplifier will buff it a lot. You could also pull out the wolf deviant and use the best ammo. I think you could reach 200k maybe with this and some better mod rolls/upgrades.
Hey i been wondering which secondary weapon should i pair with acs12 if im gonna play crit build for pvp and pve bcs what i knew that socr power surge and mp7s play more likely element/status dmg thats why i confuse what weap actually better to pair with acs12
Play with a sniper. Aws is the best both pve and pvp for the bullseye and just the sheer amount of base damage. Another optiom would be panther. In pvp just aiming down on enemy by the time they arrive to you you get the fortress warfare buff which is a win win either way
You’re right. I’m looking through my shotguns attachments right now and it shows me 66 aswell. Not sure what happened, the video was recorded before the patch so perhaps they changed something to it. I’ll tell you if I end up finding how the attachments were showing 100 accuracy
Have you thought about instead of crit damage going elemental damage to force multiple on the power surge crit damage aspect? I.e. its double dipping on crit damage vs going multiplicative on the insane power surge crit damage on the shotgun alone.
I ll definitively do some theorycrafting and testing in teh future, btu the simple answer here is since the gun deals to type of dmg (Bullet and Status), and both can scale off of crit, just focus on crit (Also in a lot of games you ll notice that crit is usually expensive and straight up bad when not invested enough)
@@mawn7976 The question is, stat priority for this weapon is kinda fudged. Obviously you want CD on subrolls, but what's the ideal 2nd subroll? Damage against Great ones? Since Weapon and Status damage don't double dip.
@@jsoltani the dmg bonus against x type of enemies is gonna depend on which enemies ur fighting against in the content ur clearing. You wouldn’t bring dmg bonus against normal enemies in a fight vs for instance Forsaken monolith
yes, however you will do less damage on the dummy because one of the cradle buff doesn t activate once power surge triggers, but rather when you kill an enemy
If someone else applies power surge, do you lose the +30% bonus from first electrocution? Also what other weapons would be a good secondary to this shotgun for medium to long distance (Aside from crossbow)
@@Kruseil I am actually currently testing the AWS right now, and it seems like rapid x2 weakspot is the better choice, however it’s not my definitive answer yet. Still need to keep testing :)
he has like 35% dmg to normal enemies as well, which directly effects the dummy as a normal enemy, meaning he clears ads, but if u cant change that normal enemy % with elite % or great ones %, you're dmg will flat out be like 35k dps less than what he showed here
Kind of bizarre how anal (and just odd compared to any mmo-like game with buffs) the Once Human community has shown when it comes to dps and build checking. In zero world would I ever be pvping or boss running anything "in a naked buff state", even by accident/normal play you are running some buffs. And then they whinge and moan about food buffs and maybe it's just casual PvE player attitude but in zero world would I pvp without food/self buffs active in some form.
Ur right, but then in Once Human food buffs require effort to make, which I assume lots of people aren’t ready to make the effort to do so. And also because for instance, deviation buffs and the crossbow buffs don’t last that long and have a substantial cooldown (dev especially).
Its also a lot easier to gauge how a build performs if everyone does these showcases with base stats. Trying to get an idea on how Build A performs vs Build B/C/D/E when some people are using food buffs and some arent is impossible. Rather just have all the builds shown at baseline
@@underhavenx But this just doesn't work for a few builds. I've been using FG/FW Memento/DB12 since release (and now added Mr.Wish to proc bullseye and bounty hunter) which is significantly more micro intensive/buff prep then any other build in the game (I enjoy micro intensive things and high damage burst revolver/hand cannon/shotgun skirmishing gameplay). Having a number of skill buffs/buffs (not food just traits) active is mandatory for big damage numbers. If I just stand still like a bot and shoot the revolver, nothing happens - that's not a showcase of the build. The last 6 hours I've been running silos with Shrapnel & Bullseye players and out damaging them by hundreds of K every single round besides one when I was afk. But it's only possible because I am doing the apm to upkeep buffs. I see on the OH discord people have basically dismissed FG besides the Predator, and not a single soul even LOOKS at the DB12 meanwhile I'm shredding with both. But it doesn't work unless you spend the apm to upkeep the buffs. From observation it just seems the OH community wants, at most, to hit the thing with crossbow and then hold lmb. Worth noting ofc it doesn't mean I'm saying these are >>> the meta PvE builds ie. Something like this corrosion video. I chose this spec primarily for PvP actually. But it's doing great in PvE.
