Great comparison, I suspected it was worth paying more for the Baltany, but it is good to be sure. I have the Baltany 1921 with 9039 movement, sapphire sandwich and the case finishing, dial and hands look like they come from a watch worth ten times more!
I don’t want people to get the wrong idea about Militado - they make very good quality watches. I have a 36mm GG-W-113 field watch (ahem, Hamilton Khaki field mechanical homage) and it’s amazing. Case finishing, sapphire crystal, screw down crown with great water resistance and best of all a VH31 smooth sweep quartz movement that I swear hasn’t lost or gained a second in 5 weeks. The only downside was the cheap nato that it came on…which I replaced with a good fkm rubber strap. I really want to try out the 38mm version that was just released.
Baltany all the way. I happened to wear it right when I saw your video! The crystal is really something to behold. And regarding the mediocre strap you got it on: there is the option to have it with an excellent black leather NATO style strap. Its quality easily matches the ones I have from Hamilton.
Thanks Olivier again for this non compromise review. I think so that baltany IS AT now far better. May you should compare With glycine swiss pilot watch who his not that much expensive and WE would be surprised by thé results. 😊😊😊

Very satisfied with my Militado. Keeps time accurately and has amazing lume. The only negative, and I presume it is true for both watches, is if you allow the large seconds hand to operate, it drains the battery more quickly. No regrets! Paid $105 with discounts.
