bro there is no “best agent for every rank” it’s always based on preference.... you’re not going to get “better” by choosing a different agent per say, i still love the channel it’s just these videos

When I first started I played sage and stay back watching how the top fraggers worked and went up to cypher who was a little more aggressive and then to Reyna which was when I learned and put my experiences firsthand which lead me to learn things quicker and learn all the roles to the game instead of starting to be glued to one thing

I can say that: Cypher : Watches flanks and helps team Reyna : Solo carry Queen Brim : Best smoke of your team needs as he doesn't requires a high skill cap. Sage : A team is hollow without her Kj : If you feel cypher is too boring

every agent is good for every rank, it depends on the user

QOTD: You make a good point. Selecting map in the long term can kill diversity and may also make the less popular map die out. Having a random map also makes the player factor in their ability to adapt and improvise. They will also consider their agent selection for themselves and for their them since a lot of agents have a greater advantage with a specific map. Although RIOT has addressed their map selection, and planning to make it more random; (but for now, you can get Blind for five times in a row lol) so if they can managed to so that, that will be fun.

My answer to the qotd: YES. It feels like 70% of my matches are on split while 25% of them are on bind and it's just so boring and fustrating to play on the same 2 maps

It helped me know that I was too much of a passive player, so instead of being passive as cypher forever or only use omen for global smokes, I switched it up with phoenix to see how things would change. I never had so much fun in all of my comp games lol.

It seems a bit more like any agent is fine for different ranks, its more based on preference and skill. plus, if you really want to grind with a aggressive agent that you have not played with much, unranked is always right there.

QOTD: I think that getting random maps is good, for the same reason because my favorite maps ascent and I hear people saying it's there least favorite. Also can I mention how annoying it is as a sage main and everyone to tell you that she sucks/isn't viable anymore? She's a healer and she still has all the abilities she has before. Just because things are a little worse than before doesnt always mean they suck. I still play her, and it just makes things a little more fun to work through the new difficulties. Edit: no one try and give me a reason she isn't viable.

i've always used viper since my unranked stage and now i'm in platinum and viper still works really really wonderful.

Advice from Top 200 NA (Radiant as of now): IRON: Reyna, Raze BRONZE: Jett SILVER: Phoenix, Skye GOLD: Breach, Brimstone, Sage PLATINUM: Yoru, Phoenix DIAMOND: Omen Raze, Omen, Jett and Yoru are some of the most crucial agents in the game. They introduce a whole new type of playstyle. If you master either of their abilites completely for solo-queueing and carrying, you'll automatically rank up no matter what rank you're in, if you have at least decent or above average aim. On the other hand, Brimstone, Breach, Skye and Sage are auxiliary agents. They can support the entry fragger with their load of utility, clutch up rounds and be team players. I recommend Phoenix and Reyna for every rank. Phoenix is a more team-based entry fragger / initiator while Reyna is a complete solo duelist who can get stuff done and clutch up rounds. Take Phoenix if you're playing with your team or if you're not completely centred in your aim and like having utility, and take Reyna if you do not trust your team and are confident in your aim and ability to entry frag.

Question answer: No I think that I would just play one map every time. I think it's good to need to learn every map and also it gets less boring because I never know which map I will play on

I love those Russian/Turkish/Arab/Whatever players on EU-servers who insta lock on Reyna or Jett, don't speak a single word all game but start to flame in the text chat once your team loses the game because everyone else is a noob even though they do nothing for the team all game.

Ranked is such a pain. I’m in bronze 2 and i can’t tell if I’m just bad or if my teammates are. I’m a sova main rn and if he’s taken I pick killjoy, but I quite often lose aim duels. I understand smokes, I understand watching enemy flanks, I understand positioning, but I just can’t do well most times

If the maps aren’t played as much that means no one wants to play them anyway so picking the map would be a good feature maybe for unrated and spike rush only.

They could have a shown rotation of like 4-5 maps so that if you really don't want to play on one you can wait and play later

I find no matter how good you are with any agent and no matter what role you play gamesense is key. The other day I got a really good ace as cypher using my abilities to take fights one at a time. Using this I kept track of my enemies and could never be attacked from multiple angles.

as a jett main, i know how to play every character, but jett always felt natural to me, the fast get in, get a kill, get out type of play style fits me perfectly.

QOTD: yes i would love if thats in the game, and even more better if it had the pick counter to see how many people are picking a map and which one are they picking

It depends for me because of the tactics and the strategies of the enemies and the teamates

QOTD- valorant maps are smaller and easier to understand. Its so simple that a new player after playing for 3 weeks can undertsand about stats in almost every map. But if people choose maps they will probably just choose only one map and polish it to perfection. The main problem is I don't want to hear first choose this map as your selected map thats the first steps in map guides

As more maps are released it only makes sense to allow choice. CSGO introduces new maps every now and then to see if they settle and get popular. That maps become less popular it’s rather good. Developers are going to understand what map features should be added or not to the new maps.

Sova is a great agent for any rank in my opinion. If you know how to use him well and know the lineups

I'm so tired of getting Haven and Ascent like 80% of the time. A map select feature would increase queue timers, but they would still have an option for random or selecting 2 or 3 maps to play on, so if you don't have a preference, they wouldn't be so long.

Nope, my problem is getting afk players or sabotaging sages, nothing within my power. I'm just gonna stop playing till riot fixes these issues.

REYNA IS FOR PPL WHO HAVE GOD LEVEL SHOOTING SKILLS AND REACTION TIME AND ARE AGGRESSIVE... OMEN IS FOR SNEAKY PPL (or if u love how cool is backstory and voice lines are) KJ is for campers and gr8 at lower ranks Jett is for ppl who have a precise aim and quick flickers phnx is for the guy who plays solo sage is the one agent u are told to take in iron and bronze

An Idea i´ve had to adress the kinda unrandom maprotation: add a voting to REMOVE one map out of the rotation. That way you can vote for the map you dont want to play because you got it last few rounds.

Map select feature seems more like something that should not be implemented and instead, a map-preference can be there with an option for a random one, this way, people who want unpopular maps would not have to wait a long time to get into matches just because more people pick other maps as compared to the popular ones.

ez if in bronze try to main a controller a duelist if you main duelist cypher or sova or breach bcz some people instalock and blame you to pick a smoke so omen is a great controller when solo queue

1:40 personally my answer is NO.......because this is the only thing that makes the game slightly Equalizer compared to csgo......not harder than csgo but an equalization between 2 games.

I think there should be map selection...I know there is only 4 maps out right now but maybe make it so you have to pick at least 3 maps to queue but can pick more if you would like.

I don't necessarily want a map selection option, I just really want to not play the same map 2 games in a row. I got Haven 3 matches in a row a few days ago, it was so infuriating

I am solo queuer, when 3 players locked duelist, i have limited option. smoke or sage or killjoy lol

map selection - at the moment i think it would be bad because there is only 4 maps total maybe in the future when more maps are in it would b a good idea as long as they had it so u got a even chance of each map i normally end up playing ascent regardless

QOTD: Either give us map select or fix the damn randomiser cause I swear, I ended up playing Bind 3 times then Split 3 times at one point (I know the reparty trick, but that doesn't work if you're solo queing) Or can't they just make it that if a player played a certain map and lost, don't pick it again after that loss, but if player won, allow the map to be chosen again until he loses a game on that map again
