No, they're just shooting on a DSLR which has about 8-10 stops of dynamic range. The background is overexposed because middle grey has to land on the talent. If evike wanted to spend upwards of 250,000 USD to get into ARRI Alexa territory, they could maybe get enough dynamic range and bit depth in order to bring the background down. They're doing the best they can with the equipment they've got and that to me is more important than the background being overexposed.
Glad Matt threw the FPG into his list. They are super cool guns and you don't see them that often. I haven't seen another one on the field other than mine in the last 6 years.
My favorite gas pistol I’ve owned was the TM MK23. I put an extended inner barrel all the way through the suppressor and turned it into a mini sniper rifle. It was shooting 450-460fps with .20g bbs and with heavy bb’s could reliably hit at ranges further than most AEGs (at the time anyway). My second favorite was my tm 226 with guarder metal body kit and third favorite was my western arms Wilson combat bobtail 1911.
love my Marui Mk23 but replacing the original mags was always a must. great package and don't ever think I would give it up. Ah when airsoft was young. cheers
Mk23 is best hands down. Modify the suppressor and it becomes so quiet that you can almost touch them with the muzzle when shooting and they still won’t hear it in a silent setting
My first airsoft pistol was a Western Arms Hi-cappa "Infinity" blowback. I loved it, but sadly hasn't worked for years and have never been able to find parts. Recently purchased a Novritsch SSP1 and can't wait for it to get here tomorrow!
I got the TM hi-capa 4.3 dual stainless With upgraded complete hop-up (maple leaf), inner barrel (maple leaf jet barrel) and a short stroke recoil spring.. And 50 rounds mags
I guess I picked the right pistol to start with. The hi capa reminded me a lot of the 2011 or 1911’s and I love the look! Also my buddy showed me his tricked out hi capa build and I just had to get one. It’s my favorite thing to work on and super easy to customize with no prior knowledge
@@opairsoft8100 Lmfao no it's not bro what are you smoking?😂😂I've had mine for 5 years and still shoots just the way it did when I took it out of the box the first time
TX Outlaw Airsoft cool, literally any other pistol would still be working in that time period and could be upgraded instead of getting stuck with a proprietary garbage gun that breaks hammers and has the worst hop up unit/hop up in pistols. Hell kwa/ksc beats kwc 1911 hop ups for range and consistency by miles
That yellow spot in top right, thought something got on my screen so i rubbed it off. Then the scene changed so it looked like it was gone. I looked away to see where it came from and looked back and the stain was back, until i realized it was part of the video. Lol
I always thought #6 was pretty cool. The problem is it starts with a high FPS on a fresh CO2 cartridge so most fields wouldn't let me play with it and so I never got one.
I love my Maruzen P-38 'Detachable', because it's basically an unlicensed U.N.C.L.E. Special. It looks cool out of the box with its weird little flash suppressor, and add the double length magazine and you've got a lot of gas and BBs to keep going. I just wish Maruzen had finished the project and made the shoulder stock and scope to turn it into a full carbine. I also like the TM FN Five SeveN. It's light, easy to handle, and has a huge magazine, like the real one. That means lots of gas and BBs, too.
It is of my firm belief that the Elite Force M1911 Tac. I have owned it for about a year now and this thing has yet to die. Not only that, it’s CO2 which has yet to underperform even in the low temps around me. In the spring and summer it does help cause it is a nice little cooler after foreign for a minute. The only problem I have had is mags. 1911 mags are commonly over $50 before shipping. If they were cheaper and the gun came with at least one more it would be the best Airsoft replica that fills you with freedom with each BB. Over all I love my 1911 it really give the user the feeling of freedom. Why? Cause ma stopping power is why.
My fav would prob so far be the 100th anniversary colt co2 gbb pistol Gave it away to a new player that was about to play indoor CQB with a spring powered M4 and get his tail kicked
My favorite gas pistol is the ShoGun KPS. Now its technically a custom gun but you could order them complete. WE TT-33 witch shoots beautifully, but then you add an underbarrel PPS shotgun.
I was finally able to find the "Robocop Gun" but for some reason I don't think Evike will ever carry it. Honestly fires amazingly well, but it's plastic like the Tokyo Marui so a couple hits from incoming fire and your slide can get damaged. Sadly just a plinker and wall decoration. Get a WE-Tech Biohazard Barry Burton Resident Evil M9 Custom GEN II if you want to haul around something with the same feel and firepower...
First pistol was the emg sai 2011 hi capa. Part after part starting breaking. After replacing a LOT of parts and switched from that DESTRUCTIVE power of Co2 to green gas it works great. Got the secutor arms 1911 since I wanted a kjw and they basically make the best internals on a budget for hi capas and 1911s. But it makes more sense to get the skinny 1911 mags. I can fire 23 plus rounds on a full fill and 28 plus for the hi capa? 5 shots?! For what, double the weight? Takes the same amount of time to load either one, whats 5 seconds to fill up some gas. Maybe if your running hj capas as a primary, I've just steered away from them as of late. Its a back up loaner pistol now, all its good for hahah. I hate proprietary anything really. Atleast the hi capas had that going for them lol
Matt I know you’re not going to read it, but rainbow8.com sells the robocop gun. The shipping is expensive and takes a while (it’s from overseas) but they’re a good site and they have some great and rare-er guns.
All Ksc system 7 gbb especially the ksc M93R, all Tokyo marui gbb especially the USP compact and full size, the new aap01, the new novritsch ssp1 and 18, but the two best gbb ever are the TM HI CAPA and desert eagle hard kick, or the way to reach your target at 50m with a full stock gbb out of the box! 😎 Indeed WA gbb are good, but more for collectors instead of gamers.
I used to hate the over use of hi-capas and thought they were annoying how common and flashy they were becoming...now I'm a sucker who owns two. Moral of the story is: we all change🤷🏽♂️
I have the KWC 1911 and I got a lemon. My trigger grouping broke from firing it only after a month. I think I’m gonna replace it with a Hi Capa or Glock
Not even gonna guess the brand, but I would assume (off of plenty of other youtubers , and airsoft buddies, and myself for that matter) the green gas 1911 form factor
I had asked this question for the helm of reasoning but it never got answered, what is your anecdotal unscientific experience between yourself and your friends who have played for years... granted that all airsoft guns are airsoft guns, that are built to replicate the look and feel of hammer fired pistols more reliable than those of striker fired models? That is is one more prone to breakage than the other. This stems from a debate I had with a friend that got a TM Glock because "real Glocks are indestructible" compared to the TM Px4 I was using, his pistol broke and the slide kept popping off while my Px4 is still functional years later, is it that there is just more "meat" (plastic) at the stress points on the PX4 or is this just a case of one being a Monday gun from the factory and the other being a Wednesday gun? Edit: did Matt and George get their patch?
