Hi Tony, well done for getting 10th place. We are being judged this week by a local Association and was asked to take part by part our site secretary. Never done competitions so, shall be interesting how the hubby & I do. We have 74 plots on our site. Crikey, that is ninja clubroot! You should get some tomatoes off those new plants. This season had been hit & miss with growing, I had an issue with sweetcorn, had to resort to the garden centre in the end. Sweetpeas were a disaster too, 3.sowings, planted out, then munched 😬 another great video. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
Hi tony ,i dont grow veg but i do grow plants and when the leaves go yellow i mix epsom salts in watering can, and feed the plants with that and it greens the leaves again cheers mate
R'reet Tony, Well done on the competition mate, You deserved to be in the top ten, I'm still marvelling at the quality of brassicas in yer cage. I'm looking forward to yer tater reveals, I've tipped two o mine out Ulster Prince & Charlotte & I got a decent harvest, I've pulled the dead foliage off quite a few 30ltr tubs & just stored them aht the rain for when I need them Your cucumbers have done well, mine not so much but the Honey plus F1 variety I grew in the other greenhouse is doing champion wi lots on that plant, I've not grown em before but they reckon they're sweet & crisp but look weird being a pale colour. It favers that spider moggy has chosen yer as it's humon lol. Take care mate.
I think you did rather well considering how difficult it's been to grow healthy crops and the Monster cage took a lot of time to build so A top 10 place was more than respectable Tony.
